It was one of the happiest days for any Bollywood buff yesterday, i.e., November 15, 2018, when Ram and Leela of the Hindi film industry, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone got married. After the much anticipation, they finally shared their official photographs from their wedding.
Deepika and Ranveer, in two wedding rituals, first in Konkani and then as per Punjabi-Sindhi customs, were pronounced husband and wife to each other on November 14 and 15, 2018 in Lake Como, Italy. After days of wait, last night we finally caught the glimpses from their wedding. Sharing the following official photos, in which both are looking like perfect bride and groom, they stamped it with a heart emoji. And now, as per the latest pics which are going viral on social media, Ranveer Singh's Mumbai residence has been all lit up and heavily decorated as we all wait for him to return to his house walking hand-in-hand with his wife, Deepika Padukone. Take a look:
In less than an hour after the newly-weds posted their official pictures, they garnered a million plus likes! And guess what where Ranveer's father, Jagjit Singh Bhavnani's first words to his bahu Deepika after the wedding? As per an Instagram story shared by the hair stylist, Nitasha Gaurav, the words were, "Ye Dewani to Bhavnani ho gayi." Nitasha also shared the above pics and captioned them as, "Presenting the newly minted Mrs & Mr Ranveer Singh Bhavnani."
For the Konkan wedding which was their first wedding on November 14, 2018, Deepika wore a silk saree with zari work and perfect embrodery, while groom, Ranveer donned himself in white kurta and dhoti. We can't wait for more pictures to descend on our laps from DeepVeer's wedding. One of the most unique features from their affair in Italy is the fact that all their gifts would be directed to charity. A report earlier suggested, "The bride and groom have requested the guests to not shower them with gifts. If they wish to give them anything, they've requested that donations be made to Deepika's foundation that actively works towards creating awareness and removing the stigma around depression. Both Ranveer and Deepika are deeply committed to the cause and want to involve all their guests in the good deed." We thank you for all the love you have showered upon us over the years and seek your blessings as we embark on this incredible journey of love, loyalty, friendship and togetherness. Lots of love, Deepika and Ranveer.”
DeepVeer's pre-wedding functions started on November 13, 2018 with mehendi and sangeet ceremonies. A spource told a media portal then, “Shubha Mudgal was performing a thumri when Deepika Padukone got emotional and was in tears. When she broke down, Ranveer, who could understand her emotional state, walked up to her and hugged her tight and consoled his lady love. He ensured she was smiling again with all his crazy love antics.” (Don't Miss: Kapil Sharma And Girlfriend Ginni Chatrath's Complete Pre-Wedding Dates And Details Inside)
