On December 3, 2018, the trailer launch of Rohit Shetty's film, Simbaa starring Sara Ali Khan, Ashutosh Rana, Sonu Sood along with Ranveer Singh, was the first platform where the newbie husband interacted with the media, after his close-knit wedding. And of course, he was flooded with the questions about his marriage and wife, Deepika. When asked about his behaviour at home, now that he is a husband, Ranveer’s hilarious action left the audience and his team laughing. Here’s what Ranveer did:
Ranveer was also asked about Deepika’s reaction to the trailer. He shared that she had seen the film’s rushes on his birthday and this is how she reacted, “Rohit sir had shown her a few rushes. She doesn’t overreact on anything in life. So when the screen was off, she looked at me and said, ‘Hot lag raha hai’.” We completely agree with you on this, Deepika!
For his chivalry and love he showcased towards Deepika during the past few days, Ranveer has already been tagged as the ‘best husband’ by the paparazzi and fans. Commenting on the same, Ranveer had stated, "I have achieved the title of 'boyfriend of the millennium'. Now I am working towards being the 'husband of the millennium'."
Deepika Padukone featured on GQ’s December cover, and we must say, she is slaying it! In an interview with the same magazine, Deepika revealed that in the journey of 6 years of her relationship with Ranveer, nothing has changed. Deepika had stated, “With Ranveer and me, our relationship rests on the fact that we’re extremely liberal with each other, extremely supportive of each other’s professional careers and know each other’s personal needs. I think when we started dating six years ago, professionally, we were both in very different places. My career took off slightly before his, but throughout our relationship, right from 2013 – even when I was shooting for [Goliyon Ki Rasleela] Ram-Leela and Chennai Express – nothing has changed.” (Also Read: Deepika Padukone And Ranveer Singh's Reception: Old Flames And New Relationships Under One Roof)

Reminiscing about her bachelorette, Deepika shared how it was gatecrashed by Ranveer and was quoted as saying, “The bachelors crashed my bachelorette! Eventually, it became one big party with all our friends. We were in Orlando for a week and the aim was to get on the scariest roller coasters, to feel that rush of adrenaline like you’re flying. We went on the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit [at Universal Studios], which Ellen DeGeneres posted about a while back. And the VR Avatar rides [at Disney’s Animal Kingdom], for which we had to stand in line for two-and-a-half to three hours, were phenomenal.”
Revealing the best qualities about her dear husband, Deepika remarked, “He is vulnerable, extremely emotional, very intelligent; childlike at times. That’s not to say that his irrepressible energy isn’t him, it’s very him. He’s a real people’s person, but there’s a quiet side to him too. Emotionally, I think I’m the more intuitive one. I’d say IQ is more him. But at the same time, he’s not all like, “I’m a man, I can’t show my emotions.” He’s sensitive, and so am I, and it makes it easier to share a life with someone who understands that.”
When asked, “What do you think is going to change for you after getting married?”, Deepika replied, “Well, I’ve been running a home since I was 18, so I don’t think much is going to change in that sense. But of course, we’ll go through all the changes that happen when two people start living together. I was clear right from the start that I didn’t want to have a live-in relationship to figure out if I wanted to marry someone or not. Now [I’m expecting] everything that comes with being a newly-wed: sharing space, you know, or the bills, whatever it takes for two people to live a life together.” (Also Read: Ranveer Is An Obedient Husband To Wife Deepika And That's His 'Key To Success In Life' [Video])
