Bollywood's power couple, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, are all set to start their family. The duo announced Deepika's pregnancy earlier in March 2024. Since then, fans have been eagerly waiting to get glimpses of pregnant Deepika. However, the actress kept her life low key during the initial phase of her pregnancy. Later, the gossipmongers and nosy netizens started speculating and calling Deepika's pregnancy fake. But Deepika and Ranveer let their appearances together do the talking. While Deepika is busy nesting, Ranveer is enjoying his 'me time' before their baby arrives.
On June 14, 2024, Indian columnist and writer, Shobaa De spotted the handsome actor Ranveer Singh at a cafe. The actor wore an oversized white-hued T-shirt, rocked his fully grown beard, and wore black glasses. Ranveer happily clicked selfies with the writer and gave her a cute photo as a token. Sharing the photos, Shobaa revealed how she bumped into Ranveer at a cafe, where he was seen enjoying his alone time.

Not only this, Ranveer also expressed his wish to gain 15 kg of weight before the arrival of his baby. It all happened when Shobhaa De pointed out on how it was her fries, but the actor stated that he wanted to be heavy for his latest project. Shobhaa wrote:
"Unexpected encounter at our favourite cafe in Alibagh. Selfie King @ranveersingh enjoying much needed "me time" before he takes up daddy duties....and starts his next film. Oh....the fries were mine. But he said he is focusing on carbs himself. He needs to be 15kg heavier for his latest project. Charming, natural and unfailingly polite as always. Glad to have him as a neighbour in Alibagh."
Having date night before the arrival of a baby, is what strengthens a relationship. And the daddy-to-be, Ranveer is making sure to pamper his lady love as she is carrying their baby in her womb. A while ago, we spotted Ranveer and Deepika were see shelling out couple goals, as they were spotted exiting from a restaurant. Ranveer turned protective and held his pregnant wife, Deepika's hand and helped her get inside the car.

Earlier, in an interview with Rajeev Masand, the mommy-to-be, Deepika Padukone revealed that if she wouldn't have been an actress, she would have settled down. Yes, the actress expressed her wish to have her own family and raise three kids. She also expressed her wish of taking her children to her shoot. She was quoted as saying:
"If I was not an actor I don’t know what I would have been doing. But hopefully with some children around. Three little kids, scuttling about. Hopefully, be working enough to take them to shoots. Have a happy family. And at the same time, still doing what I am doing."
Well, Ranveer is definitely taking his promotion from husband to daddy, quite seriously! What do you think?
