Ranvir Shorey, who emerged as the second runner-up of Bigg Boss OTT 3, made waves during his stint on the show with a confession. The actor had revealed that his whole motive behind joining the reality show was that he didn't have projects, and his fans couldn't stop talking about the same. Now, the actor has got everyone talking once again as he revealed how his life and career prospects have changed post-Bigg Boss OTT. And his revelations might surprise you.
Ranvir Shorey became one of the most loved contestants on Bigg Boss OTT 3 and garnered a lot of attention. His fights with the show's winner, Sana Makbul were especially enjoyed by viewers. So, his fans might have expected to see his professional life pick up as projects should have started pouring in after he left the show.
However, in a recent interview with the Hindustan Times, Ranvir revealed that his life has barely changed since the show. Confessing that he was still waiting to see work roll in, Ranvir said:
"I have a couple of offers, but life hasn't changed much after the show. People say overnight changes happen; that is not true. Yes, there was more attention. But I am waiting to see how that translates into work."
In the same interview, Ranvir Shorey opened up about how being viewed as a 'high-calibre' actor' didn't always mean getting loads of projects. Talking about how he's heard praise for years but still can't find solid work, Ranvir said:
"I have been hearing that for many years now. But I don't see it in the frequency of work. Things are progressing; a couple of web projects have been offered to me. And I am taking my time finalising them. That's the pattern always with many actors: they are talked about, yet there's a lull until the next good project comes. Let's see what happens this time."
For the unversed, Ranvir Shorey was seen in films like Bheja Fry, Ek Tha Tiger, and Sonchiriya. Most recently, his film, Khosla Ka Ghosla! was re-released to theatres. However, given the inconsistency in work he has seen, Ranvir is now planning to focus his attention elsewhere. The actor revealed that he is now building his YouTube channel and might soon starting posting parts of his life as vlogs on there.

While on Bigg Boss OTT 3, Ranvir Shorey candidly confessed to only coming on the show because he didn't have steady work. Once the show ended, Ranvir went on to do an interview with Siddharth Kannan, where he spoke about not being able to land meaty roles. Talking about his approach to his career, Ranvir said:
"Even when I express that I'm not getting acting offers, don't take it in a pathetic sense. I can work as a labourer, I have no problems… I'll do something else. Filmmaking and music are the two loves of my life. I'm happy doing any work in these fields. I have enough experience in these fields to make a living one way or another. Even if I have to work as a spot boy on set, I'll earn a living. And I will not feel bad about it."
