Ranvir Shorey is one of the most talked about contestants in the Bigg Boss OTT 3 house. Viewers are loving his calm composure and practical approach towards situations where he tries to resolve conflicts and find a middle ground rather than fighting over minor issues. For the unversed, Ranvir was previously married to actress, Konkona Sen Sharma, but their relationship could not sustain the test of time, and they got separated in 2015 and divorced in 2020. Recently, Ranvir opened up about his divorce and why relationships do not sustain in the showbiz.
In the recent episode Bigg Boss OTT 3, Ranvir Shorey was cleaning the utensils with Naezy when the latter complimented Shorey about his ex-wife, Konkona, being similar to him. Later, Naezy respectfully asked Ranvir why the relationships in the showbiz world are unstable. To which, Ranvir pulled in the feminist movement and added:
"Yeh industry ka koi lena dena nahi hai. Yeh zamane ka, jaha duniya hai na, usse lena dena hai. Because abhi jo feminist movement hai usko kabhi kabhi abuse kiya jaata hai. Kabhi Kabhi aadmi nahi jhel paate usko, kabhi kabhi aurate usko abuse karti hai. Toh iska industry se koi lena dena nahi hai. Woh sab jagah hai. Feminist movement bhi zaruri hai."

Ranvir dodged talking directly about his divorce. He further added:
"Mere hisab se history mey joh aurato ko second class treatment mila hai na, uski wajah ek hi hai, woh kya hai ke women are physically weaker than men. Bas issi wajah se. Issliye mai kehta hu ke feminist movement issliye important hai."
