Raveena Tandon's daughter, Rasha Thadani is all set to make her Bollywood debut in Azaad , which also stars Ajay Devgn, Aaman Devgn, and Diana Penty. The stunning actress took the Internet by storm when her song from the film, Uyi Amma was released. Netizens were awed by her expressions and mesmerizing dance moves. In fact, many believed that the first 'talented' Nepo kid had arrived on the Bollywood scene. However, with Rasha's reels taking over the internet and comparisons with other stars flying, some have started questioning the authenticity of the praise. Most recently, her comparison with Triptii Dimri set netizens on edge.
Recently, a video praising Rasha Thadani's expressions went viral on Instagram, while taking a dig at actress, Triptii Dimri. The clip was taken from the Bigg Boss 18 episode in which Rasha, Aaman Devgn, and Raveena Tandon made an appearance. During the segment, Rasha danced to her hit song, Uyi Amma , as her mother, Raveena, host, Salman Khan, and co-star, Aaman watched with smiles. The Instagram page that shared the video penned on it:
"Look at this Tripti Dimri, this is what they call giving expressions."
The caption enraged netizens, who took to the comment section to praise Triptii's acting skills. Users pointed out Triptii's remarkable performances in Bulbbul , Qala , and Laila Majnu as proof of the same. However, the page hit back, saying that the video was not just about her acting skills but about her dance and expressions. However, netizens weren't accepting of this reasoning and stated that the video reeked of PR tactics.
However, it wasn't just Instagram users who were irked by the video comparing Rasha Thadani and Triptii Dimri. Soon, a still shot of the video was shared on the social media platform, Reddit, with the OP questioning Rasha's allegedly 'insane' PR strategy. They posted the image with a headline that read, "Her PR is going after everyone be it outsiders, nepos or seniors." Further, in the caption, the OP called attention to the fact that since Rasha's song had been released, all posts about her had been comparisons with other actresses.
Some came to Rasha's defence, like a user that wrote, "Funny how a lot of people are acknowledging a PR team for an actress but don't seem to notice one for politicians." However, most seemingly agreed with the notion that Rasha's PR was behind the posts, and they weren't too keen on their strategy. A part of one user's comment read, "This is absolutely ridiculous; her PR has gone way out of control. If anyone even gives me the movie tickets now, I am burning them," while another wrote, "Chappal bhi isko waise hi padenge when she bombs."

Rasha Thadani recently sat down for a candid chat with Filmygyan, during which her comparisons to Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, and Suhana Khan were brought up. The actress humbly responded:
"I think they are all more experienced than me. They have done more work than I have. They have already completed films and had their releases. So, I think there's something I can actually learn from them. They have had more experience, so I don't think it's like that."
