Rashmi Desai is one of the most famous actresses in the television industry. The actress was once the highest-paid actress. Rashmi worked in several serials, music videos, and shows. She also graced the famous 13th season of Bigg Boss and ended up in the fourth position. The actress' personal and professional lives have not been a bed of roses and she had to go through a lot. In a recent interview, Rashmi talked about the same.
On Paras Chhabra's podcast, Rashmi Desai walked down the memory lane and talked in detail about the time, when she was struggling financially. The actress shared that it was back in 2017, which was a dark phase of her life. Rashmi said that she became financially weak and had loans worth crores which took a toll on her. Rashmi said that she was extremely perplexed about what to do and how to clear the debt, but later, she got the serial, Dil Se Dil Tak. But although, the journey was beautiful and she earned through it, she didn't know how to utilise things and had zero investment plans. Later, she decided to take part in Bigg Boss 13.

In the same interview, Rashmi said she was on the road for four days and ate food worth Rs. 20. Rashmi said that the food was for the rickshaw riders, and it used to come in a packet, wherein there were chawal, daal and 2 rotis, and often there used to be kankar in the food. She said that all her stuff was in her manager's home back at that time. When Paras asked Rashmi if she was one of the highest-paid contestants of Bigg Boss 13. In reply, the actress joked about it, and later both the participants laughed it off.
For the unversed, Rashmi was married to Nandish Singh Sandhu. And after three years of their wedding, they parted ways. Rashmi, in an interview with ETimes, stated that she was completely shaken by her first marriage and later realised that it was a huge mistake. While being on Bigg Boss 13, Rashmi was in a relationship with a businessman, Arhaan Khan. But that relationship too ended after a while.

Talking about her personal life plans, Rashmi stated in the interview with Paras Chhabra that she is looking for someone who can at least understand her. The actress added that she wants to be with someone who can be with her and understand what she needs.

She didn't actually live her childhood, which she is trying to do now and to be understood is the utmost priority for her right now. When Paras asked her if she wants a fatherly figure, Rashmi answered with a 'yes' and mentioned that the person should not just be manipulated by social and cultural norms.
