Rashmika Mandanna Feels 'Animal' Director, Sandeep Reddy Vanga Does Not Look At Women As 'Creatures'

Rashmika Mandanna's latest offering, Pushpa 2: The Rule, has become one of the highest-grossing movies in India. The actress celebrates the success of the movie and speaks about the love she has for her director, Sukumar, who brought her role of 'Srivalli' to life. Rashmika who has also given us the hit movie, Animal could also not stop raving about the director of the movie, Sandeep Reddy Vanga. She lately opened up about how both the directors see women as strong characters.

During an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Rashmika revealed that both her directors, Sukumar and Sandeep Reddy Vanga are shown to showcase women in the strong limelight. Pushpa 2: The Rule did smash the box office numbers, and the actress credits Sukumar for showing off Srivalli beautifully. However, the actress noted that both Sukumar and Sandeep have respect for women and do not see them as mere creatures. In her words:

"What I have seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Sukumar sir is their utmost respect towards a woman. They don’t look at women as creatures who need help, they think that women are powerful. It comes through their craft, you see Geetanjali or Srivalli, both of these characters know that Ranvijay or Pushpa are killing 200 people out there, but still, they have the guts to stand up against them when they make a mistake."

Rashmika added that voicing that up takes courage, Vanga and Sukumar think that a woman standing up against a man who can kill 200 people is possible because of their respect towards women.

Going ahead, Rashmika also added that her directors have a lot of love and respect for women. One needs to go to the depth of their work. She saw her characters being respected, and that is why she essayed them. The actress, also noted that she had also done characters where she needed help and to be saved. In her words:

"I will do those characters also. But these characters show a woman through a director’s eyes, so it’s an honour to be directed by them."

There are rumours that Rashmika is dating Vijay. Responding to the question of being friends with the actor, along with Allu Arjun and Ranbir, she had an interesting reply. Rashmika noted that one thing she has learned in life is that everyone has their battles to fight, so there shouldn’t be another battle for them to fight with. She does not want to be a battle in their life, but rather a good experience. When she works with her co-stars she knows that she would always have their back, and be their friend. Rashmika further added:
