In an interview with Filmfare, Raveena Tandon spoke about her son, Ranbirvardhan Thadani and was quoted as saying:
"He's a wise, old soul. I believe that he's my grandfather or someone like that who's been born to me again. He is so mature for his age. When we used to go for parent-teacher meetings, they would tell me that he's such a gentleman. There was a supervisor who used to call him 'Buddha'. She used to say that he is a wise, old Buddha who talks less and does his work."
