Dangal fame, Suhani Bhatnagar left everyone in utter shock with the news of her demise on February 17, 2024. For the unversed, Suhani grabbed a lot of attention with her role as the younger 'Babita Kumari Phogat' in Aamir Khan-starrer, Dangal. However, her demise at the age of 19 came as a shock to everyone. Soon after her demise, Suhani's father revealed that it was a rare autoimmune disease, dermatomyositis, which took the actress' life. Recently, Babita Kumari Phogat paid a visit to Suhani's parents and extended her condolences to them.
Taking to her IG handle, Babita Kumari Phogat dropped photos as she recently went to Faridabad to meet the late actress, Suhani Bhatnagar's parents. In the first photo, we can see the talented wrestler standing in front of the photo of the late actress, Suhani with folded hands as she extended prayers to the late actress. In another photo, Babita can be seen standing next to Suhani's mom and family members as they all offer prayers to the late actress. There's no second thought about the fact that such a sight broke everyone's hearts. Sharing the photos, Babita penned:
"Suhani Bhatnagar, who played the role of my childhood in the film Dangal, reached her Faridabad residence today and paid condolences to her family and expressed condolences. Om Shanti.”

It was on February 17, 2024, when the reports about Suhani Bhatnagar's demise surfaced online. However, it was later confirmed by Aamir Khan's team. Taking to their X (previously Twitter), Aamir Khan's team confirmed such heartbreaking news. For the unversed, Suhani was only 19 years old. Sharing the shocking news, Aamir Khan's team extended their condolences to the diva's family members and also heaped praise on the late actress by calling her a star and a talented individual. Earlier, the reason for Suhani's demise was not known to anyone, and it was only reported that she had a leg fracture, for which she was on some medication, which led her to face some side effects like fluid accumulation. However, it was Suhani's father, who later revealed the truth. As per a report by India Today, in a media interaction, the late actress' father stated that at first about two months ago she was facing some hand swelling issues, which everyone took to be normal, but later the swelling spread to her body.

Suhani's father also added that the former's health problem couldn't be detected at first. But after she was admitted to Delhi AIIMS hospital, tests declared that she had an autoimmune disease, dermatomyositis. The late actress' father stated that doctors had mentioned that this disease would take time to be cured and that the only treatment for it was steroids. He shared that Suhani's immunity system got weakened as she came across some infections, which led her to face fluid build-up, and made it hard for her to breathe, which was the reason for her untimely demise.
We wish strength to Suhani's family and her parents to deal with such a tough situation.
