Bollywood actress, Richa Chadha has been riding high on both her personal and professional front. While viewers are simply mesmerised by her performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus, Heeramandi, she is also pregnant with her and her husband, Ali Fazal's first child. For the unversed, they tied the knot in 2020, but celebrated and announced their union in October 2022. Following this, the madly-in-love duo announced their pregnancy in February 2024 by sharing a note, “1+1=3.”
Taking to her IG handle, Richa Chadha opened up about the challenges of her third trimester. She also shared a couple of photos, wherein the actress was wearing an embellished suit teamed with glam makeup, statement earrings and open tresses. Sharing them, she talked about the hurdles she is facing at this time, including discomfort, insomnia, acid-trippy dreams, backache, migraine, and weepy moods. Elaborating the same, she said:
“Third trimester comes with discomfort, insomnia, acid trippy dreams, backache, migraine, and weepy moods… so here's a little sneak from the past.”

Further, on the same note, Richa reflected on the past joys of her life and how she is eagerly anticipating her husband, Ali Fazal's return for baby preparations. She talked about getting endless love even two months after the release of the series, Heeramandi and expressed her gratitude for the same. Further, asking Ali to come home soon, she wrote:
“Loved being exclusively in Indian wear through the promotions! #Latergram from promoting #heeramandionnetflix. Cuz the future will be better but the past is better than the present today LOLOL. It's been almost 2 WHOLE months but i am getting endless love for LAJJO. Hence the smile. @alifazal9 come home soon. We got work to do, the house needs baby proofing."
Earlier, as per a report by the Hindustan Times, we learnt that Ali Fazal has been wrapping up his work commitments by June 30, 2024. Following this, he will be taking a paternity break of four to five weeks to take care of his wife and his soon-to-be-born baby. The same report claimed that the actor has four to five days left to complete the shoot for Metro... In Dino, and the entire work for Lahore 1947 has almost been completed. A source revealed that Ali will return to the sets in August 2024 and start working on the unfinished projects after becoming a father. The source said:
"Ali has four to five days of shoot left for Metro... In Dino, and Lahore 1947 is almost up for completion. As for Thug Life, he will be wrapping up the majority of his shoot before he goes on break. Only one schedule of the film will be left post that, and Ali will resume work on it in August. It will be the first film that he works on after becoming a dad. He also has another film in the pipeline, which he will begin shooting for during the same time, however the official announcement of the film is yet to be made.”

Earlier, taking to her IG handle, Richa dropped an IG story, which was an appreciation post for her husband, Ali. The photo featured a delicious avocado and cheese toast, which the actress relished for breakfast. Moreover, the mom-to-be revealed that the yummy breakfast was made by her hubby, Ali. Atop the photo, Richa penned a loving note and mentioned how Ali prepared breakfast for her before he left for work, heaping praises on him.
