Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have been subjected to intense scrutiny on the web ever since they announced their relationship. The duo tied the knot in an intimate wedding on April 14, 2022, and welcomed their angel, Raha, in November of the same year. Alia never misses a chance to talk about her husband and daughter and is often seen sharing stories about them. However, one such story led to the netizens labelling Ranbir as a misogynist and an unsupportive husband.
In a recent interview with Zoom, Ranbir Kapoor's sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, defended the couple, asserting that they are undaunted by how the public perceived their relationship. When asked how people's presumptions of her brother's image affected her, Riddhima shared that she knew how the couple was. She revealed that they both adore each other and have a lovely child together. She said:

"They adore each other. They’ve created the most beautiful ever child, Raha. She is so so adorable. They are amazing parents. So, I don’t think they really care about what people say."
Not too long ago, Ranbir Kapoor had to face the heat of the trolls after a video of Alia went viral. In the video, Alia shared how Ranbir would ask her to wipe off her lipstick whenever she was around him. This clip of Alia soon went viral on the internet, and the netizens were calling out Ranbir for being toxic and misogynistic.
Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, who was recently seen in Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives, shared that people will always have something to say no matter what they do. She added that this was why they are called trolls and stressed that if they are happy together, nothing else matters. In the same interview, when Riddhima was also asked about being a product of nepotism and for having a snooty attitude, she responded by saying that she is nothing like that.
Riddhima revealed that she is a simple girl who enjoys spending time with her family. She added that she is not an extrovert and barely goes out or socialises. She further shared that she is not bothered by the trolls because she believes that people are bound to say something about her. She said:

"I'm nothing like that. I'm a very simple girl. I love being at home with my family. I rarely go out; I barely socialise. I don't even bother about trolls. Trolls are trolls because of a reason. Why highlight them and give them importance? Like I said, logon ka kaam hai bolna, woh toh bolege. People have always been saying nasty things, negative things, but why let negativity get to you? You focus on all the positives."
Riddhima Kapoor Sahni is the daughter of veteran actors, late Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor. She is a Delhi-based high-end jewellery designer.
