In an old interview with Pinkvilla, ahead of her entering controversial show like Bigg Boss, Rinku Dhawan was asked since such a reality program often used to dig things from a person's past, whether she would be triggered or not by Kiran's mention over there. To this, she immediately quipped that her ex-husband's topic wouldn't trigger her. She shared:
"I'm not affected by it. This (topic of separation) will not trigger me. I'm someone who doesn't get triggered easily. It happened six to seven years ago. It's too much into the past. I'd probably laugh out at anyone who would try to bring that up in an argument."
