Popular actress, Rinku Dhawan is known for her stint in popular television shows, including Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, Swabhimaan, Yeh Vaada Raha, Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha, and many others. Currently, she entered India's most controversial TV reality show, Bigg Boss 17. And ahead of that, Rinku opened up about various anecdotes concerning her personal life and her excitement to participate in the show, which are simply unmissable.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Rinku Dhawan, who was last seen in the serial, Titli, until it got wrapped up, was asked if she considers Bigg Boss 17 as a career booster. To this, Rinku mentioned that it can either be a career booster or a revival since the reality TV show gives a massive platform to its contestants. She also added that even if a participant gets evicted within two weeks of being a part of the show, then also he or she gets huge popularity. She said:
"I feel the show is on a very grand level and the platform is so massive that anyone and everyone will only benefit from it. You can call it a great launch pad, a career booster, or even a career revival. I believe anyone who participates and gets evicted in a mere two weeks, is also a winner because the show gives him/her that popularity. It is a win-win situation."

Talking about Rinku Dhawan's personal life, she got married to her onscreen brother in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki, Kiran Karmarkar in 2002. They are also blessed with a son, Eshaan. However, Rinku and Kiran started having a rough patch in their marital bliss, and reports about their separation started coming in 2017. Finally, in 2019, they were officially divorced. In the same conversation, Rinku was asked that since a controversial show like Bigg Boss, often used to dig things from a person's past, whether she would be triggered or not by Kiran's mention over there. To this, she immediately quipped that her ex-husband's topic wouldn't trigger her and added:
"I'm not affected by it. This (topic of separation) will not trigger me. I'm someone who doesn't get triggered easily. It happened six to seven years ago. It's too much into the past. I'd probably laugh out at anyone who would try to bring that up in an argument."
Meanwhile, in another recent interaction with the ETimes, Rinku talked about her family's advice and reaction to her participation in Bigg Boss 17. Rinku also mentioned that she would take her participation time in the show as an outdoor shoot. Moreover, the actress would take the emotional moments she would be having over there for not being in touch with her family as her mental strength. She elaborated:
"It is a project I'm going for and I will be away for three and a half months. I'm taking it as an outdoor shoot aur main apni shoot beech mein kabhi chod ke nahi aati. Yes, I'm going to miss my family as I won't be able to talk to them but I will convert this into mental strength. When I'll miss them, I'll get emotional, it is the mother's instinct towards son, my mother will also get emotional for me. It is not very difficult and I've to prepare for it."

Further, in the same conversation, Rinku explained how her excited family members suggested many strategies for her to use inside the BB house, including having an affair. Afterwards, Rinku also talked about how her mother was also emotional. But the actress somehow managed to console her mother by saying that it is only the latter who manifested it.
