It was in the '80s when a charming man walked onto the big screens and asked us, "Kya tumne kabhi kisi se pyaar kiya?", and the whole world screamed in unison, "Kiya!". That was the moment when we felt the first brush of love towards the legendary actor, Rishi Kapoor, who was also affectionately known as 'Chintu' by his loved ones. Every girl in the '80s had a huge crush on Rishi ji and the boys had tried copying his style. From being a loverboy to a versatile actor, Rishi ji was hailed as the extraordinary actor. He had made us laugh and cry with his amazing acting calibre that can never be described in words. And on the morning of April 30, 2020, he enacted his last act as he left for the heavenly abode leaving the entire nation in shock. No one can still believe that Rishi ji is no longer with us. It was like a bolt out of the blue as the news of Rishi ji's sudden demise flashed on our mobile screens and television sets and for a minute, we couldn't believe what we read. We hoped and prayed that the news might be a fake one, but it was all in vain as destiny had already played its game and took away our favourite superstar. A part of us still cannot believe that we are witnessing Rishi ji's antim yatra as family and friends have gathered at the cremation ground to pay their last tribute.

The pictures and videos of the same have surfaced on the internet. And in the midst of it, we spotted a heartbreaking picture, wherein Alia Bhatt was seen crying inconsolably as she was video calling Rishi Kapoor's daughter, Riddhima Kapoor, who wasn't able to attend his funeral due to the lockdown in the entire nation. For those who don't know, Riddhima lives in Delhi and because of it she was not able to attend her father's funeral. However, according to a report by NDTV Riddhima had asked the Union Home Ministry for a permission to fly to Mumbai by a chartered flight. A senior police officer had said, "She sought permission late at night. We had it within minutes." Due to the lockdown, trains, buses and flights are banned, so, Riddhima is reportedly driving to Mumbai from Delhi, which will take around 25 hours. Riddhima bared her heart and her pain in an emotional post on her Instagram handle for her father. She shared a picture and wrote, "Papa I love you I will always love you - RIP my strongest warrior I will miss you every day I will miss your FaceTime calls every day!
