India's captain, Rohit Sharma, is celebrating his ninth wedding anniversary on December 13, 2024, with his wife, Ritika Sajdeh. She took to her Instagram handle to write an emotional post for her husband. The cherry on the cake was the array of pictures she posted, wherein one of them was from her unseen second baby shower ceremony.
Ritika, took to her Instagram handle to call Rohit the best dad, best husband, and best friend. The touching tribute post had a compilation of 4 pictures. The first snap was very special as it looked like it was from Ritika's private baby shower ceremony. The picture was shot on the beach, and in the frame, Ritika held her daughter, Samaira. There was a big banner made on the sand that read, "Welcome Junior". Rohit, too, looked dapper in the frame, and there was also a floral cake kept on the table. She captioned the post, "Happy 9 baby Best dad, best husband, best friend and the best I could ever wish for."
In another picture, Rohit and Samaira had a candid daddy-daughter time while playing along the waves on the beach. The third picture was from the stadium, after one of Rohit's matches, and the fourth snap was a wholesome selfie of Ritika and Rohit.
It was on November 15, 2024, that the pair was blessed with a baby boy whom they called Ahaan. As per a Hindustan Times report, Rohit did not travel with the Indian cricket team to Australia as he was going to be a father. The couple had kept the pregnancy news under wraps just like Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma had done. Ritika and Rohit had made a joint announcement post when their little bundle of joy arrived. Rohit had captioned the post as, "15.11.2024" and shared a graphic image of a family with the text, "Family the one where we are four."
