Further, in the interview, Rohit Roy talked about the time when he had major strain financially, and he started becoming judicious. The actor recalled one time when he went to Paris for vacation, and he had to think about his hotel stay. Rohit mentioned that he had enough money for his 15 years of career in the television industry, but still, he had to wonder whether he should opt for a 5-star or 7-star. The actor also mentioned that even though he was going through a tough phase, his family did not necessarily need to miss out on any experiences. Elaborating more on the same, Rohit shared:
"Like, for example, if we have gone to Paris. It is wrong of me to say this because people will say that we don’t even have money to go to Lonavala, you are talking about Paris. It’s relative but we would think if we should live in a 7-star or 5-star. But again, like I said this is not a sob story."
In the same interview, Rohit Roy also shared that although he is in a better place in his career now, a few years ago, he used to get minimum opportunities. The actor also recalled that he called filmmaker, Karan Johar for work as the latter has often appreciated Rohit in his projects. Rohit also took a slight dig at Karan and mentioned that there might be a chance that after seeing this interview, Karan might give him a chance to be a part of the sequel of his recently released film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
