South Indian actress, Sai Pallavi is loved for her acting skills and stunning fashion sense. Apart from this, she is also looked to for flaunting her skin proudly and not endorsing any fairness cream brand. The gorgeous actress had worked in many films. Now, the recipient of two Filmfare Awards for her superb acting in films, Fida and Premam, has opened up about one of her childhood memory of writing a love letter to a boy in class 7.
For the unversed, Sai Pallavi Senthamarai is the daughter of Senthamarai Kannan and his wife, Radha. She also has a younger sister named Pooja. The actress shares an amicable bond with her family and keeps on sharing glimpses with them. A while back, sharing a family picture, she had penned:
"I’m out of words to describe how you’ve all made me feel loved blessed n in serious doubt if I even deserve all this... a million thanks to u all for the love n prayers n blessings uve sent via msgs n posts n comments n in person... I’m deeply moved n forever indebted . I pray I Atleast Give u all half the love n happiness that You’ve showered over me I love u all n here I am sharing a few pics of how my day went."

In a conversation with the YouTube channel, My Village Show, in association with Netflix, Sai Pallavi opened up about writing a love letter in her real life and what happened afterwards. Talking about the same, she mentioned that she had written one to a boy when she was in class 7. However, laughingly she revealed that her parents soon caught her and had hit her harldy. Sharing the same, she said:
“In this film, I wrote them as per the director’s instructions. But in real life, I wrote a letter just once. I wrote a letter to a boy, it was in my childhood. Maybe when I was in my 7th standard. I was caught. My parents hit me hard, a lot.”
For the unversed, Sai Pallavi is a doctor by education. She had studied at Tbilisi State Medical University, recognised by MCI (Medical Council of India). In 2016, she completed her MBBS from the same, and in August 2020, she had also taken her FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) in Trichy. Not only this, in February 2021, on Forbes India's seventh annual list of 30 most promising and inspiring people, Sai Pallavi was the only actress to make a place over there. The actress had taken to her Twitter handle and delighted her fans with the news.

Earlier, the actress was also hitting the headlines for her extensive decision of rejecting the deal of about Rs. 2 crores for doing the commercial for a fairness cream. In an interview with Behindwoods, the actress confirmed that she had turned down the offer for the fairness cream endorsement. However, the actress hadn't revealed the brand's name but opened up about her reasons for saying no to this huge lucrative deal. The actress had said:
"What am I going to do with the money I get from such an ad? I'll go home and eat three chapatis or rice. I do not have any other big needs. I see whether I can contribute to the happiness of people around me or I can say that the standards we have are wrong. This is the Indian colour. We can't go to foreigners and ask them why they're white, and if they know that they will get cancer because of it. That's their skin colour, and this is ours."
