Work takes you places and the same goes for the top-notch members of the Pataudi clan, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Taimur Ali Khan. Paparazzi’s favourite celeb family has been away from India due to work commitment for close to two months now, but time and again we have a sneak peek as to what is brewing in their lives. And yesterday too (August 16, 2016), was no different. (Do Read: Ankit Shah Of 'Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji' Gets Engaged To Girlfriend, Aashima Nair)
Yesterday (August 16, 2019), Saif Ali Khan had stepped into the 49th ladder of his life and apparently had a gala time with his wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan and son, Taimur Ali Khan and his friends who are with him in the distant land of London. Our morning had begun with a glimpse of Saif smothering Taimur and blowing him with a gazillion kisses! One look at the picture and it had immediately made us blurt out a big loud ‘awww’!
Then came about another picture wherein Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Taimur Ali Khan sat amidst the backdrop of an English cottage, dropping in ounces of royalty from the picture! It looked like a serene picture of the Pataudi fam-jam from Saif’s birthday afternoon. While the birthday boy, Saif had looked dapper in a maroon shirt teamed with a navy blue vest, his wife, Kareena had worn a casual pink, full-sleeved t-shirt and jeans, donning a no-makeup look. Their little cheesecake, Taimur had worn a blue chequered-shirt with a pair of beige shorts. Check out the picture below:
Saif Ali Khan had revealed in an interview with the DNA that he will spend his ‘big day’ by ‘cooking and eating’ with friends and kids. And that is exactly how we came across this birthday evening picture of Saif from the celebrations! A picture from Saif’s birthday party is going viral on the internet, wherein, he is seen cutting a sumptuous birthday cake, with his wife, Kareena all smiles as she stood by side. Here’s the million-dollar picture:

While that was about ‘his people’ who were by Saif Ali Khan’s side, his family members too had posted heartfelt wishes for the Pataudi Prince. Daughter, Sara Ali Khan had posted an ethereal family picture with her abba and had wished him by writing, “Happiest birthday Abba. I love you so much.” Saif’s brother-in-law, Kunal Kemmu had posted a picture with the birthday man and wrote, “Happy Birthday Mr cool. Lots and lots of love.. Always.” Saif’s sister-in-law, Karisma Kapoor too, had taken to Instagram and posted a throwback picture with him and had penned, “Happy birthday, Saifu! love you (my favourite pic of us)." In an interview with the DNA, Saif Ali Khan had talked about his birthday plan and had shared, "We are staying in an ancient country home in Windsor, England’s countryside. I thought it was haunted, but now I don’t think it is. It’s very nice and there are about six of us here with kids we are cooking and eating. I will celebrate by having dinner with friends."
In yet another 2017 interaction with the DNA, Saif Ali Khan had spoken about his hobbies, his family and the things that he likes doing the most. He had stated, “Probably. I mean, I enjoy reading and travelling, etc. as much as I enjoy working. You only need to do a certain amount of work to ensure quality. You should work as much as you care. I’m in that space now. I have a car, home, office, kids are settling, well at least 1/3 of them (smiles). I can afford to do work that I really want to do. I have a comfortable life, and anyway acquiring wealth doesn’t mean everything to me. You should have enough to live comfortably, travel, send your kids to good schools... It shouldn’t be that at a party I feel compelled to go up to this hotshot producer just to pamper his ego. It’s nice to be in a position where you can be polite to him, without expecting things." Saif Ali Khan is a dad to a toddler, a teenager and a 24-year-old. Speaking about the same, he had shared, “It is fashionable to say I am changing diapers, etc. Everyone does it. It’s no big deal. The real thing is being with the baby all day and taking care of him 24/7. Luckily we have a family set-up and everyone pitches in, and we also have helped here to do all that for us and that’s a big blessing. I have seen friends in London and they do everything themselves. And it’s a lot of work. No wonder some of them kill their babies. Yes, it happens. I know it is a politically incorrect thing to do. Anyway, I think a father’s role is for other bigger things. When Taimur grows up, and we can talk is when the real father-son equation comes into play. All this is frivolous. I have been leaving my house early and I have started waking him up at around 7. He finishes his feed — he has just started on solid foods — and we spend about 20 minutes together. I read to him or put on some music, or nursery rhymes. Taimur incidentally begins his day by listening to aarti.”
