Bollywood actor, Saif Ali Khan was stabbed 6 times by an intruder at his Bandra home, Satguru Sharan. The incident took place in the wee hours of January 16. He had six stabs, out of which two were deep and one was near to the spine. Saif's son, Ibrahim Ali Khan and a house help were the ones who had rushed the actor to Mumbai's Lilavati hospital.
Saif Ali Khan's team had revealed that 23-year-old Ibrahim had taken his dad with a household to the hospital after the robbery attack had taken place. Ibrahim is Saif's first son, from his marriage to Amrita. As soon as Ibrahim learned about the robbery attack, the starkid rushed to Satguru Sharan's apartment, where Saif resides with Kareena and kids, Taimur and Jeh Ali Khan. He was taken to Lilavati hospital around 3.30 Am and the incident reportedly took place around 2.30 Am.
A report by Lokmat claimed that the thief was trying to enter Jeh's room when his fight with Saif had taken place. Jeh's caretaker saw the robber and screamed. During this time, the scuffle between the actor and thief took place, where the intruder stabbed him multiple times before fleeing the crime scene. His team also confirmed that the actor was out of danger. His surgery was led by Dr. Nitin Dange, Consultant Neurosurgeon, Dr. Leena Jain, Consultant Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Nisha Gandhi, Consultant Anaesthesiologist, Dr. Kavita Srinivas, Intensivist, Dr. Manoj Deshmukh, Consultant Radiologist.
According to a report by HT, a Lilavati doctor who liked to be anonymous revealed that a knife piece was found in Saif's body, and the doctors had examined the extent of damage. The actor was able to move his body, which showed that his spine was ok. He underwent two surgeries. The broken knife part was removed from his spine area and was also handed to the police. Saif has been shifted to the ICU where he would be kept under observation.
Saif's team released a statement a while ago saying that the actor had come out of surgery and was out of danger. He is currently in recovery and the doctors are monitoring his progress. All family members are safe and the police is investigating the incident. A part of the note also read:

Kareena's team had also issued a separate statement to the media stating there was an attempted burglary in Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan's residence. Saif had an injury on his arm for which he is in the hospital, undergoing a procedure. The rest of the family is doing fine.
