There’s no denying the fact that, we all were waiting for the trailer of Imtiaz Ali’s much-awaited film, Aaj Kal. The reason why there was such a huge buzz around the film is the fact that Sara Ali Khan and her rumoured boyfriend, Kartik Aaryan were coming together on the silver screens for the first time. The original film, Love Aaj Kal had come back in 2009 and had a stellar cast of Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, Rishi Kapoor, Giselli Monteiro, and Rahul Khanna in lead roles. The film bought an amazing concept of showing a couple’s love story from two different times and transcends the feelings of true love on the big screen. The movie was filled with outstanding soundtracks and incredible dialogues that we use even to this date for our loved ones. For instance, Saif’s answer to Rishi Kapoor’s character, Veer when he was telling him "Pyaar ik waar hi haunda hain, raaje" And he had replied saying "Mujhe kum se kum 15 baar ho chuka hai paaji". There’s no doubt that Saif Ali Khan’s character, Jai was the backbone of the film, Love Aaj Kal. The way Saif had portrayed his character in two different halves of the film was undoubtedly an unforgettable performance of his. Now that the trailer of Imtiaz Ali’s film, Aaj Kal has been released, all the fans on the internet are sharing their views about the same. With some suggesting that the trailer doesn’t hold a storyline and it’s like things are just falling in front of their screens for no reason. On the other side, some are happy by the fact that they’re seeing Kartik Aaryan with Sara Ali Khan finally after a long wait. However, Saif Ali Khan is the one from the side, who thinks the trailer of the original film, Love Aaj Kal was way better than Aaj Kal.

Recently, the trailer of Saif Ali Khan’s upcoming film, Jawaani Jaaneman was released and it had got huge thumbs up from the fans on the internet. The reason is the fact that Saif is back in his confused playboy lover character with the topping of being a dad. The actor was in talks with The Indian Express and reacted on the Aaj Kal trailer and said "I saw the trailer, and obviously, I wish them all the best. I wish Sara the best for everything she does because she is my daughter. I kind of like my film’s (Love Aaj Kal) trailer more. Well, first of all, we should appreciate the actor for expressing his true emotions in public even though his daughter is working in the film, Aaj Kal. There are a lot of people who pointed fingers on Kartik Aaryan’s acting and thinks the actor can't escape from the shadow of Saif’s brilliant performance in Love Aaj Kal. However, it’s not all dark at the moment for Aaj Kal as a lot of people are glad that they didn’t try to remixing the old hit songs from the original movie, Twist and Aahun Aahun. Many fans expressed their desire to hear more songs from the original movie in the upcoming film.

The reason why people were waiting for the release of this film’s trailer was the fact that they are in awe with Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan. The dating rumours of the two were ruling the internet during the shooting of Aaj Kal. But, when the shooting of the film ended, it was the cold breeze distance that had extinguished the fire of their budding romance. According to a Mumbai Mirror report, a source had shared that Kartik and Sara had tried their best to have some time with each other post the wrap up of their movie, Aaj Kal. But things didn’t go as per plan and they had to call it quits. Neither Kartik nor Sara had ever commented on either their alleged relationship or their breakup rumours and only the future can tell us something about the two.
