Saif Ali Khan was left seriously injured in the wee hours of January 16, 2025, when robbers reportedly barged into his and Kareena Kapoor Khan's Bandra residence. Saif was rushed to the hospital, and an emergency operation also took place. Now, Saif is out of danger after sustaining a total of six injuries, two of them being major.
If the reports are to be believed, Kareena Kapoor Khan was out for a girls' night out, and she reached home past midnight. Well, it was one hour later, when the serious incident took place, and it was Saif Ali Khan, who, to protect his family, fought with the intruder. According to the reports, the intruder had a knife, while Saif was fighting without any weapon. He was stabbed six times. Now, a video went viral, wherein Saif and Kareena's caretaker was seen going inside the building. Her hand was seen being bandaged, which means she also sustained an injury while protecting the family from the intruder.

While the incident caused a stir everywhere, it still couldn't be understood how the attacker even got an entry inside Saif Ali Khan's home, which remains surrounded by tight security. As per several reports, seven teams are formed by the crime branch to track down the suspect. Meanwhile, a report by NDTV revealed that the CCTV footage of the actor's house showed no entry of trespassers, which brought the suspicion that the intruder was hiding inside the couple's home beforehand.
Amid this, several sources are claiming different possible ways that the intruder might have entered Kareena and Saif's home amid tight security. Some sources mentioned that the suspect might have been connected with one of the staff members, who could assist the intruder in entering the couple's home. Another question is how the intruder even fled from the house after doing the crime. Well, in that case, some sources are also wondering if the intruder used a duct within the house to gain access. Well, no verification of these claims has yet been made by the officials.
Saif Ali Khan has been certainly going through a lot of pain, but he is now out of danger, and this was confirmed by the actor's team as well as the doctors who treated him. As per the doctors, 2.5 inches of knife was removed from Saif's spine as it was lodged and it caused the leaking out of the spine fluid. He also had wounds on his neck and hands, which were treated by the plastic surgery team.
