Now, in an interview with SpotboyE, Saif Ali Khan confirmed that both mother and baby are doing fine and that there is no name for the baby yet. SpotboyE also reported that Saif Ali Khan’s mother, Sharmila Tagore is yet to see her new grandchild. According to sources, “With the COVID situation being what it is, travelling from Delhi to Mumbai is not advisable for Sharmilaji and she may wait a bit longer before seeing her new grandson.” Talking about Taimur and his reaction to being a big brother, the source added, "Taimur is very protective of his new little brother. He sits staring at the newly-born with a look of supreme joy on his face."
Earlier, in a conversation with Mid-Day, Kareena Kapoor Khan's father, Randhir Kapoor had revealed that it's too soon to decide a name for the newborn. He had said, "It's too early. As per reports in SpotboyE, Saif Ali Khan feels it is very unsafe to shoot and complete his upcoming movie, Bunty Aur Babli during the times of COVID-19, especially now, as they have a newborn at home. The reason the actor has taken paternity leave is to protect his baby from plausible infection.
In an interview with the Times Of India, Taimur Ali Khan's nanu, Randhir Kapoor had revealed his reaction to becoming a big brother. He had also mentioned that even Saif is quite excited about embracing fatherhood once again and had said, "Oh! He's delighted. He is very happy about having a little brother. In fact, even Saif is excited. He is very happy, so is my daughter, and I just bless them all from the core of my heart." Talking about his feelings on becoming a grandfather once again, Randhir ji had said, "Both Kareena and the baby are doing well. I have not seen my grandson yet but I have spoken to Kareena and she's told me she's alright, and the baby is healthy, too. I am very happy, in fact, over the moon to become a grandfather again. I am eager to see the little one. I am already praying for his well-being.” (Also Read: Shilpa Shetty Kundra Stuns In A Bikini By The Beachside In Maldives, Doesn't Look Like A Mom Of Two)
