For every daughter, her father is her superhero, who can do anything for her. From tying her shoelaces to braiding her hair, a father's softer side is only visible when he is around his daughter. No matter how old she gets, she is always his little angel and he will go to any extent to protect her. For a daughter, her father is the only man she trusts blindly and could go for any suggestion, be it personal or professional. Born into a star family and daughter of two brilliant actors, Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, Sara Ali Khan always wanted to be a Bollywood actress. Ever since she had made her Bollywood debut with the film, Kedarnath, she had been receiving a lot of applause. Sara is not only appreciated for her good looks and acting but her humbleness and down-to-earth attitude have won millions of hearts. Like every doting daughter, Sara too looks up to her father, Saif, and Saif has confessed in many interviews that Sara has made him proud.

In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Saif Ali Khan has talked about working with daughter Sara Ali Khan. After working with newcomer, Alaya F in the film, Jawaani Jaaneman, Saif was asked about his plans of working with Sara. Talking about the same, Saif replied, “I would love to but it will have to be a very special script. I think both of us would like to avoid gimmicks. I am sure given the right director and script it can be great. I always make a very clear distinction between my family and career. They are both separate. I never think that I should work with my wife (Kareena Kapoor Khan) or my mother (Sharmila Tagore). In the future as well, I would like to maintain that.”
Sometime back, in an interview with The Times of India, Saif Ali Khan had expressed his opinions on the differences in the work culture of his generation and that of his daughter’s generation. He had stated that there is a lot of mismanagement that happens to create a certain personality for newcomers. He had retorted that the whole process seemed like choreographed and rehearsed and feels that an actor must be himself. In an interview with the Bombay Times, Sara had opened up about her father’s opinion. Disagreeing to her father’s views, she had stated, “I think to each his own. I cannot say that everybody should be themselves, maybe some people are actually very shady. Maybe they need to be managed and need to have a choreographed personality that works for them. I, as a person, am not like that. At the end of it, it’s a job, people make income out of managing your public image, you don’t want to take that away. The more people you feed, the better it is.”

Saif Ali Khan has worked in the movie, Love Aaj Kal and his daughter, Sara has worked in the sequel of the same movie with the same title. When the trailer of the sequel was released, Saif had confessed that he had liked his movie’s trailer more. In an interview with the Mumbai Mirror, Sara had replied on the same and had stated, “We are all protective and possessive about our work.
