The royal couple of Bollywood world, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan were already on cloud nine and then they embraced parenthood with the arrival of their little one, Taimur Ali Khan. On October 6, 2012, Saif and Kareena took the wedding vows kicking away all the barriers that came their way. Four years down the lane, the lovebirds welcomed Taimur on December 20, 2016. Ever since, there is no looking back as they gave birth to a star, who is already the internet sensation.
Taimur is Saif and Kareena’s first baby, and the parents are cherishing each and every moment with their cotton ball. There is no denying the fact that they have jam-packed schedules, nonetheless, the two have always managed to make some time off to spend with Taimur. On and off, Kareena gets clicked dropping Taimur to his school or Saif chilling with him in the pool. In a recent interaction with the Bombay Times, the Sacred Games actor poured his heart out on how he feels when Taimur is sleeping after he comes back home from work. Saif was quoted as saying, "When I come home after work and find Taimur sleeping, I feel bad. We shoot long hours, but if I haven’t packed up even after 8 pm, I feel uncomfortable because it means taking away time from my son.”
Recalling his own growing years and what his parents have taught him, he further added, “In my growing-up years, my parents taught me about the importance of respecting family space. My father (Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi) was a cricketer and mother (Sharmila Tagore) is an actress, and they both had hectic schedules. However, we learnt that it is important to talk about other things, too, at home and that’s how life becomes beautiful." For the ones who don’t know, Kareena had once shared the mantra behind striking a perfect balance between personal and professional lives, “I’m at a stage in my life where I don’t have to choose between career & family. I’m doing both. I’m an actor but through all the ups & downs I’ve been a sister, a wife, a mom & none of these roles have deterred me. In fact, it’s put me on the right path. My dreams have gotten bigger–there’s much more to achieve. As an actor, and as a woman.”

For the ones who have been living under the rocks, Kareena will soon shine on small screen as well with her mentor aura on Dance India Dance season 7. Talking about being a part of the dance reality show, DID, Kareena had shared, "My management told me about DID's offer, but initially, I wasn't sure. It has been a long-standing show. In their 10th year, they have revamped the concept, made it a 360-degree set with over 200 cameras shooting the acts. So, I was excited to join them." Bebo had further added, "I made it clear that I don't work for more than eight hours because of my son, Taimur. Sometimes, I can make an exception of working up to 12 hours. On the other hand, she had also told the Indian Express, "Television takes a lot of time, and after Taimur, I don’t work for more than eight hours. I am a working mother, but I need my time with my son. I want to be home before he eats his dinner and at that time, I spend only with him. This was the only condition I had while signing the show and the makers have been kind enough to balance my time."
In an interaction with the Mumbai Mirror recently, Saif revealed his little one, Tim’s reaction on his Jawaani Jaaneman look. He was quoted as saying, "Tim says he wants to grow his hair long too, while my wife and family were quite relieved to see my new look like most people." In the same interview, he had opened up about their blissful vacation with Kareena and Taimur in Italy and Saif had stated, "I’m spending some family time at the Ferragamo estate. Talking about Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu’s daughter, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu and Taimur’s camaraderie, Saif had tagged Taimur as a gunda. He had then told the Hindustan Times, "They hang out here at home. She is very small and delicate, and he is a ruffian, but we have a lot of people around, so we don’t need to be worried. But Taimur is a gunda. I hope he doesn’t pull her hair (laughs)."
