After the release of his much-awaited film, Laal Kaptaan which didn’t do well at the box office, Saif, in a conversation with movie critic, Rajeev Masand, opened up whether having a star wife who is equally popular as him brings any jealousy or sourness in their relationship. Saif replied to the question with utter calmness and said, “No, no, no. I mean I think we’re far too realistic for that kind of thing. At one point in time somebody is more successful than the other and the other time both people are having a great time. But I have never measured life in those terms. In fact, the success of my life has got nothing to do with box office. It’s to do precisely what’s happening at home.”
Saif, who is extremely proud of his talented wife, revealed further that Kareena knows her game better and he has never felt bad or has compared her popularity with his as he feels that the two have different approaches to their work. On November 1, 2019, Kareena had opened up about her insecurities related to work during a Q&A event in Australia, where she had unveiled the trophies of the Women’s T20 World Cup.
