Filmmaker, Sajid Khan has been grabbing a lot of attention with his stint in the popular reality show, Bigg Boss 16. His comments and verbal spat with his co-contestants have been a topic of discussion among the audiences. Apart from this, Sajid also been hitting the headlines for his name being frequently brought about in relation to the #MeToo movement. Many actresses have accused Sajid of misbehaving and being disrespectful to them. However, now, the audiences will no longer be able to watch Sajid's stint in BB house as he gets eliminated from the show.
A promo video of the upcoming episode of Bigg Boss 16 surfed online. In the video, we can hear Bigg Boss announcing the news of Sajid's exit from the show. In one of the clips, the filmmaker can be seen getting emotional while listening to Bigg Boss's final words to him. The promo showed Bigg Boss applauding Sajid for taking the difficult decision of coming on the show to reconnect with his fans. He even mentioned how Sajid is the only contestant on the show who everyone respects. In his words:
"Sajid your bonding with the contestants and your fans was quite difficult but you always made it happen. You are the only contestant who is respected by each and every contestant in the house. We have a lot of stories of yours to tell in Bigg Boss and further Bigg Boss will become another life story for you. This was houseful with you."

In the promo video, we can spot Sajid Khan getting emotional upon listening wise words of Bigg Boss. The video even showed him thanking all the contestants of Bigg Boss 16 for supporting him in his journey. In one of the clips, we can see Sajid's friends, Sumbul Touqeer Khan, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Shiv Thakare and others hugging him as he leaves the show. The filmmaker can also be seen joining his hands and showing gratitude to his BB housemates. With tears in his eyes, Sajid said:
"jo jo mere kisi se bhi jhagde ho, haath jorke mafi mangta hu. Lekin aap logo ka bahut support raha."

Soon after the video went viral, netizens flooded the comment section of the post with their reactions. Many questioned the makers of the show for giving an emotional farewell to Sajid and asked why this was not done for Abdu. Some even appreciated Sajid's journey in the BB house. One of the social media users commented, "he was good player but bully and manipulative. his game was much better than whole mandali." Another wrote, "Ye to hona hi tha eski Abdu ke bina es show mein koi existence hi nhi thi. Ye Abdu ke karan hi itna tika or dikh rha tha."

For the unversed, Sajid Khan's participation in Bigg Boss 16 had garnered a lot of media attention. Several female celebrities have taken to their Instagram handles to object to his participation in the show. From Sherlyn Chopra, Elnaaz Norouzi, Mandana Karimi, late Jiah Khan, Shaloni Chopra Aahana Kumra, Dimple Paul, Karishma Upadhyay, and Rachel White to Kanishka Soni, these are the women who had opened up about their casting couch experience with Sajid in the past few years. However, with time, everyone made peace with his participation in the show.
