Sakshi Tanwar And Daughter, Dityaa, Stun In Ethnic Outfits At Ekta Kapoor's Ganpati Celebration

Sakshi Tanwar is one of the most commonly recognised faces on Indian television. She is among the highest-paid actresses on TV and is known for her iconic roles as 'Parvati Agarwal' in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and 'Priya Sharma Kapoor' in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. Her beauty, grace, acting abilities and humility have earned her the admiration of her fans. The 51-year-old actress surprised everyone a few years ago when she revealed she had become a single mother and adopted a baby girl. Sakshi usually stays away from the spotlight. But she was recently seen with her daughter, Dityaa at a Ganesh Chaturthi event.

The daily soap queen of television, Ekta Kapoor, recently hosted a special lunch on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. For the special event, she invited a lot of famous names from the industry. However, one guest who always steals the limelight is Sakshi Tanwar. She shares a great bond with Ekta Kapoor and worked on many projects she produced. Every year, she is spotted at Ekta's residence, and this year, she marked her attendance with her daughter. 

Sakshi Tanwar looked gorgeous in a pink-hued saree paired with a necklace and a few rings. She kept it simple with subtle makeup, kohl-rimmed eyes and hair tied in a bun adorned with a Gajra. Her little one wore a bright yellow and white-hued ghagra-choli with a few bangles. She tied her hair neatly and looked overwhelmed while posing with her mother for the paps.

Sakshi Tanwar revealed it has been challenging to be a single mother to Dityaa

Sakshi Tanwar adopted a nine-month-old Dityaa in 2018. In her recent interview with News 18, she revealed that since she doesn't have a typical 9-to-5 job, she can easily balance her work and being a mom. Also, she shoots for 50 to 65 days of the year. So, she doesn't have an excuse for not being there for her daughter. At the same time, the actress mentioned her family has been supportive of helping her raise her daughter. However, being a mom has been challenging because there is no support system or manual to manage many challenges, such as dealing with a child's tantrum. In her words: 

"I can manage my time because parenting is a full-time job, and you don't have any excuse for not being there. I have been lucky that when I was shooting, my family stepped in and were very supportive. My bhabhi, my sister took care of my child. It's very difficult to strike that balance, and it's the most challenging thing to have a balance between your aspirations and time with your child. Every day is a new lesson and a new challenge. When the child is throwing a tantrum, there is no manual or support system to guide you. You just handle it however you can. It is challenging."

Sakshi Tanwar began her television career in 1998 with Albela Sur Mela. She went on to gain fame with Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, which made her a household name. The actress has starred in popular shows like Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin, Balika Vadhu, Kutumb, and more. She was last seen in the 2024 Amazon Prime Video film, Sharmajee Ki Beti.
