Malaika Arora's Ex-FIL, Salim Allegedly Tags Her Family To Be His Parivaar After Anil Mehta's Demise

Malaika Arora's life has turned upside down, as her father, Anil Kuldip Mehta bid farewell to the world by committing suicide on September 11, 2024. The news came as a shock to the industry. If the reports are to be believed, Anil Kuldip Mehta jumped off from the 6th floor of his building and bid farewell to the world. Surely, Malaika is heartbroken, and to support her, the Khan family, i.e., her ex-in-laws, arrived at Anil's residence. Now, an insider revealed that Salim Khan tagged Malaika's family to be his 'parivaar' in this testing time.

In an interview with Times Now, a close source revealed that Anil Kuldip Mehta had never shown any signs of depression, and now, everyone in the family is in shock about what could have possibly happened for which he took his life. The source also added that Anil's ex-wife, Joyce Polycarp is too numb and in utter shock to speak anything, while Malaika has requested everyone to give her family privacy. The source can be quoted as saying:

"So far no one has the actual chronology of events leading up to the death. Malaika’s mother is too numbed to speak. Malaika has asked for the family to be left alone in this hour of crises.”

For the unversed, as soon as the news about Anil Kuldip Mehta's demise surfaced, Arbaaz Khan was the first one to reach his residence, followed by his family members, including Salim Khan, Salma Khan, and Sohail Khan, among others. Well, as per the source, Salim Khan stated that a divorce between a couple can never separate the family. Salim reportedly said:

"Salim Saab and his wife also visited. He was heard saying, 'Ek miyan biwi ke alag hone se parivar nahin alag ho jaate."

Arjun Kapoor greeted Malaika Arora's ex-in-laws with folded hands as they reached Anil Kuldip Mehta's residence

Malaika Arora's alleged ex-beau, Arjun Kapoor, was also present at Anil Kuldip Mehta's house to offer condolences and to support the actress. Well, in a video, Arjun was seen standing near the gate and greeting Malaika's ex-in-laws with folded hands. For the unversed, Malaika was earlier married to Arbaaz Khan, and they have a son, Arhaan. After 19 years of their marital bliss, they parted ways. Arbaaz is currently married to Sshura Khan, while Malaika seemingly has broken up with Arjun Kapoor.

Joyce Polycarp's statement after  Anil Kuldip Mehta's demise

As per a report, Joyce Polycarp, soon after her ex-husband,  Anil Kuldip Mehta's demise, recorded a statement. As per the statement, Joyce mentioned that she and Anil had been living together for a few years. Talking about what happened, Joyce revealed that she found her husband's slippers in the living room and couldn't find him anywhere. Thus, she went to the balcony to look out for him but was not able to find Anil. Joyce then reportedly looked down from the balcony and found her ex-husband lying on the ground and the watchman shouting for help.
