Salman Khan has been the OG bachelor of Tinsel town. Being famously adored as the bhaijaan of Bollywood, the fact that he has remained unmarried to date has surprised many and has left them wondering if the superstar will ever settle down in matrimony. For the unversed, Salman Khan has had previous relationships with many actresses, including Aishwarya Rai, Katrina Kaif and Sangeeta Bijlani, all of which has broken up a long time back. He has been more recently rumoured to be in a relationship with Romanian actress, lulia Vantur. Sadly, they have never accepted or denied their link-up rumours.
Salman Khan is currently in Dubai, attending the upcoming IIFA Awards 2023. Just a while back, we stumbled upon one video of Bollywood’s bhaijaan as he engaged in a media interaction on the red carpet of the IIFA Rocks event. During the session, a female reporter who claimed to have come all the way from Hollywood suddenly proposed marriage to Salman and said, “Salman, will you marry me?”. While the actor was shocked and asked if she confused him with Shah Rukh Khan, he blushed and gave her an epic response. He mentioned that his days of marriage have long gone and that she should have met him 20 years ago. In his words:

Salman Khan has undoubtedly been a fan favourite, and nearly every performance of him becomes no less than a blockbuster hit at the box office. Moreover, it is indeed praiseworthy how at 57 years of age, his handsome looks and terrific acting mettle can give any younger actor a run for their money. Speaking up on the same, Salman Khan, during a promotional event for his then-newly-released film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, responded to a media query about being compared with younger actors. To this, he took the names of a few of his contemporary actors who are not yet ready to retire and explained how some newcomer actors are already hiking their fees without achieving much. In his words:
“We (Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan) will make them run for their money. We are not retiring anytime soon. Our films also work and so we hike our fees. Seeing that, they also increase their fee even when their films are not working."
Salman Khan often loves expressing views about his personal life in public. Proof of the same was found once when in a candid conversation with Rajat Sharma on the show, Aap Ki Adalat, he mentioned how he had been desiring to be a father for the longest time and had even contemplated surrogacy to do so. In his words:
“That's what I was trying to do. But that law may have changed, so let's see. I am very fond of children. We have the whole district, the whole village. But my kid's mother will be my wife."

In the same interview with Rajat Sharma, Salman Khan also touched upon his marriage and revealed that it would happen whenever God decided to make it happen. Moreover, he mentioned how all his previous failed relationships never elevated to the state of marriage as most of his ex-girlfriends refused to tie the knot. Furthermore, he said all his failed relationships were a result of his faults in him and mentioned:
“When God almighty decides, it will happen. Two individuals are needed for marriage. In the first case, the marriage did not happen. When I said yes, somebody said, no. When somebody said yes, I said no. Now there was 'no' from both sides. When we both say 'yes', the marriage will happen. There's still time. I am 57. I want this time it should be the first and last. Actually, all my previous girlfriends were good. The fault lies in me."
