Baba Siddique’s tragic demise has left the entire nation rattled. However, it is the ones nearest and dearest to him who are suffering the most. That includes B-town superstar, Salman Khan, who is dealing with several overwhelming emotions. He is coping with the loss of his friend, dealing with the guilt that he might have caused that friend’s death, and fearing for his life all at once. And it seems like it won't be easy for Salman any time soon, as he has received a fresh death threat.
Actor Salman Khan was issued a renewed death threat recently, which demanded a whopping Rs. 5 crore from him. Allegedly, the demand came from the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang in hopes of settling their ongoing 'enmity.'
The text was received by the Mumbai Traffic Police over WhatsApp. In a tweet on X, Asian News India revealed the amount that had been demanded as well as the threat issued along with it. It could be read as:
“Don't take it lightly, if Salman Khan wants to stay alive and wants to end the enmity with Lawrence Bishnoi, then he will have to pay Rs 5 crore. If the money is not given, Salman Khan’s condition will be worse than Baba Siddique.”
ANI’s tweet further revealed that an investigation had been started to identify the sender of the message. In the meantime, the Mumbai Police has beefed up the security around Khan’s Galaxy Apartment in Bandra.

Salman Khan is now in the Y+ category, which includes between eight and eleven personnel. Armed police officers and a few commandos make up this security category.
As the police continue their investigation, Salman Khan seems to be taking some of his own protective measures. A report from Bollywood Stories revealed that the actor had recently purchased a bulletproof Nissan Patrol SUV. The car has been imported to Mumbai from Dubai and is valued at a staggering Rs. 2 crore.
The Nissan Patrol SUV has enhanced security features, including bomb-alert indicators and reinforced glass to protect against close-range fire. Not only that, the vehicle also has tinted glass to obscure the identities of those inside. So, it can be assumed that Salman is taking the threats seriously and leaving nothing to chance.
The Lawrence Bishnoi gang stepped forward and took responsibility for Baba Siddique’s death. However, what was even more shocking was that they placed the blame for it on Salman Khan. Salman Khan and the Bishnoi gang have had an ongoing enmity since 1998 when the actor was accused of killing a blackbuck.
The incident triggered Lawrence Bishnoi so deeply that he made an attempt to kill Salman Khan once before when shots were fired near the actor’s apartment. For the unversed, the deer is a sacred animal to the Bishnoi community, as they consider it a reincarnation of their spiritual leader, Guru Jambeshwar.
What do you think about the Lawrence Bishnoi gang’s alleged death threat against Salman Khan? Let us know.
