Salman Khan, a.k.a Bollywood’s beloved bhaijaan needs no introduction. He enjoys a massive fan following and has been entertaining audiences for so many years now. Apart from his acting prowess, Salman is known for his fearless attitude and bold stances, which simply sets him apart from the others. However, when it comes to his personal life, he still happens to be very doting and rooted in his family, especially towards his parents.
Recently, during the special screening of his niece, Alizeh Agnihotri’s debut film, Farrey, Salman Khan opened up on a rather unknown aspect of his life. While Salman is known to be a top-of-the-league actor, on the contrary, the actor still relies on his father, Salim Khan to manage his finances. Proof of the same was found when during the event when actor, Sahil Mehta commented that Salman still continues to hand over all his earnings to his father. Hearing this, Salman admitted the same and, in a light-hearted tone, narrated how he has to seek permission from his father to spend money even today. He mentioned:

“Woh start kiya tha aur ab woh pattern ban gaya hai, nahin karna chahiye tha. Aap apne paise apne paas hi rakho, nahin toh phir poochna padta 'Daddy kuch paise hai kya?' He then replies saying 'Tereko paison ki kya zaroorat padi? Kitne paise?' And then I tell him 'Daddy woh 3...?' '3 hazar?' 'Nahin Daddy, 3 lakh.' He says, 'Kya!'"

Way back, during his stint on the show, Dus Ka Dum, Salman Khan had shared his father, Salim Khan’s take on bringing girlfriends home. For the unversed, Salman has had a history of past relationships. Speaking along the same lines, the actor had mentioned his father’s strict rule about bringing his girlfriends home and spending time with them, rather than aimlessly roaming around with them in the city.
In a previous interview with the Hindustan Times, Salim Khan had talked about the one piece of advice he has given his son, Salman Khan. He revealed making his son understand the value of both success and failures in life, and guiding him, on how to handle both at various moments. In his words:
“I have always told him never to get excited with success or depressed with failure. Success is not a permanent phase, and everyone keeps growing older. Today, a Salman Khan film promises wholesome entertainment and he has to deliver each time.”

In a previous interview with Bollywood Bubble, Salim Khan talked about how he was always sure about his eldest son, Salman being successful in the film industry. He added that while he had some reservations in the beginning, later he was sanguine that Salman make something good out of his career, since had the qualities of a star.
