Salman Khan is one of the prominent faces in Bollywood. Known for his humble nature and down-to-earth personality, the superstar enjoys many good friendships in the film industry. His one such bonding was with actor, Pradeep Rawat, who has worked with Bhaijaan in many films like Tiger Zinda Hai, Baaghi: A Rebel for Love, among others. Pradeep once belonged to Salman’s inner circle, but he distanced himself later. He closely witnessed the superstar's breakup with his ex-girlfriends, Somy Ali and Sangeeta Bijlani.
During a recent interaction with Siddharth Kannan, Pradeep Rawat opened up about the details of how Salman left Somy Ali heartbroken after breaking up with her. However, he revealed that Salman wasn’t affected much as he was aware that he didn’t have a dearth of options. Speaking about the same, Pradeep said:
“Salman Khan wasn’t affected much. Somy Ali was affected a lot by their break-up. Salman is so good-looking that he doesn’t have a dearth of options. They were my friends and we would sit together, eat together… both of them would tell me their side of the story.”

Further in the conversation, Pradeep was asked about Salman Khan's breakup with Sangeeta Bijlani and the latter's reaction to the same. Responding to it, Pradeep said that Sangeeta was affected more as she never wanted to lose Salman. When asked whether Salman was a heartbreaker, Pradeep Rawat made a shocking revelation and said:
“Obviously, Sangeeta was affected more. Who would want to lose a human being like Salman? Sometimes things happen unknowingly and there were some misunderstandings. Salman is a very clean and neat-hearted person; he cannot hurt anyone.”
Pradeep also explained the reason behind distancing himself from Salman Khan’s inner circle and revealed that he thought that if he stayed by Salman's side for a long time, then he would become the latter's bodyguard. The Sarfarosh actor said that he thought that he wouldn't be able to achieve anything in life so he chose to gradually distance himself from Salman. In his words:
“I didn’t meet Salman for years because I thought that if I stayed with him for a long time then his bodyguard Shera wouldn’t have a place. I would end up as his bodyguard. I thought I wouldn’t be able to achieve anything if I remained in this comfort. So, I slowly came out of Salman’s inner circle.”

In the same interview, Pradeep Rawat also made a shocking revelation on Salman Khan's professional front and shared that the latter was the first choice for Ghajini. He added that director, AR Murugadoss originally wanted to cast Salman in the film. For the unversed, Ghajini featured Aamir Khan and Asin in lead roles, and the film went on to become a blockbuster.
