Salman Khan, the Bhaijaan of Bollywood, never fails to impress us with his acting skills, charming personality, handsomeness, and more. The actor has several threats on him fro his life, and for the same, he has to stay inside of a tight security panel. Salman Khan has a lot of bodyguards, but it's Shera, who is the most trustworthy one. Shera has been with Salman for 29 years now, and he has taken the oath to be with the actor for as long as he's alive. Well, reports have been rife that Shera's salary is more than that of any Indian CEO, and he recently reacted to the same.
Shera, whose original name is Gurmeet Singh Jolly, recently sat for an interview with Zoom, wherein he was asked about his luxury cars and salary. For the unversed, reports have often mentioned that Shera takes away Rs. 15 lakh per month as his salary, and his annual salary is Rs. 2 crore, and it is higher than any Indian CEO.

Well, reacting to the same, Shera, in the interview, added that he doesn't know how he became so viral with the news of buying swanky cars, and people were staring at him and recognised him with his car as well. When asked about the rumour of him getting paid more than any Indian CEO, Shera said that he feels like if people are discussing it so much, he really should get paid like this. In Shera's words:
"Abh ye log bol rahe he to, I mean dedo. Nahi, itna zyada, mujhe lagta hain aisa hona chahie."
In the same interview, Shera revealed the story of getting hired for Salman Khan by his brother, Sohail Khan. He said that he first met Salman on a show, and he was called by Sohail, as the Tiger 3 actor needed security. Shera mentioned that there had been some issues going on the stage back then, and that's when Sohail asked him to be with Salman, and since then, he has been with him. Shera can be quoted as saying:
"First time I met him at a show and Sohail bhai ne bualaya tha mujhe. Security chahiye thi bhai ke liye, kuch issue hua the stage show pe tabhi. Jab Sohail bhai ne mujhe dekha ki tu kyu nhi karta hain. Sohail asked, 'Why don't you go with Salman bhai?' I said yes. Fir mai shows pe jana shuru kiya bhai ke saath and gradually, we developed a bond with him."
In the same interview, Shera talked about his bond with Salman Khan and mentioned that their equation developed gradually and became stronger. He called himself Sardaar and Salman Pathaan, which made their bonding even stronger. He also revealed that he had told Salman that he would be with him forever and serve him.

Shera's real name is Gurmeet Singh Jolly, and he hails from Andheri, Mumbai. He not only is Salman's bodyguard but also a successful businessman, who owns a security firm named Tiger Security. He has given security to several famous personalities during their shows, and the two most famous of these celebrities are Michael Jackson and Justin Bieber. It was in 1987, when Shera won the title of Mr. Mumbai, for bodybuilding, followed by the title of Mr. Maharashtra.
