Bollywood actor, Chunky Pandey made his acting debut in Hindi cinema in 1987 with the multi-starrer film, Aag Hi Aag . Since then, he has proven his versatility as an actor, be it as 'Aakhri Pasta' from the Housefull series or his negative role as 'Kabir' in Begum Jaan . Chunky has faced his share of ups and downs in his career. However, it's not just his acting mettle that has captivated fans' hearts to this day, but also his cheeky personality. Actor, Salman Khan once narrated an anecdote about Chunky scamming people that perfectly highlighted the latter's humor and mischievous antics.
Recently, we stumbled upon a clip on Reddit in which Salman Khan narrated the most hilarious anecdote involving Chunky Panday. The video seemed to be from a segment of a show and featured both stars. As Chunky held the mic for Salman, the latter opened up about the Housefull actor inviting him for a show in South Africa.
Salman said that Chunky had asked him whether he wanted to watch a movie, go shopping, and have dinner. The Sultan actor responded yes to all three questions. Talking about what was actually going on, Salman revealed:
"He took money from three places saying that Salman Khan is coming to have dinner, do shopping and see pictures. This is Chunky Panday."
Chunky responded by bringing up Salman Khan's hilarious dialogue, saying, "Ekbaar Salman Khan ne commitment kar di toh." However, instead of completing the original dialogue, Salman put his own twist on it and said:
"Then he doesn't even listen to Chunky Pandey."
Chunky Panday's antics are by no means new. In fact, the actor has been pulling such tricks since the very beginning of his career. "One morning, I got a call from an organiser. He asked, 'What are you doing today?' I told him, 'I am just leaving for a shooting.' He asked me where it is and I told him it's in Film City. He then said, 'Bhai, there is a small event on the way, come for 10 minutes, the money is good.' I said sure. He then asked me, 'If you're coming, wear white clothes and come.' I didn't think much, wore white clothes and landed at the venue."
When the actor made it to the venue, he was confused to see several people standing outside in white clothes. It was once he saw the dead body that it struck him that he was at a funeral. Chunky then recalled his first naive thought that the organizer himself had passed away. Not only that, he also revealed that the deceased person's family had another odd request. They told him that they would pay him more if he cried.
Not only does Chunky Panday like to laugh at himself, but he doesn't mind poking fun at his loved ones too. The actor was once seen liking an Instagram post that mocked his daughter, Ananya Panday's short-lived romance with Aditya Roy Kapur. The post was featured on a page called Filmy Mauj. It included a picture of the couple posing together for an eyeglasses brand with text that read, "When the brand's contract lasts longer than the relationship."
