Son of veteran actor, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya had made his acting debut in 2009 with the Telugu film, Josh. But prior to his first film, he had signed his second film, Ye Maaya Chesave which had changed his life for the best. Chaitanya was not only applauded for his splendid performance in Ye Maaya Chesave, he had also met his soulmate, Samantha Akkineni during that movie. Ye Maaya Chesave was followed by films like, 100% Love, Manam, Premam, Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo, Majili, etc. As Naga Chiatanya completed 11 years in the cinema, his doting wife, Samantha Akkineni shared a heartmelting congratulatory note for him.
On September 5, 2020, Chaitanya’s debut film, Josh completed 11 years and the actor’s gorgeous wife, Samantha Akkineni took to her social media handle to congratulate him. She took to her Twitter handle and wrote an adorable note for her ‘hero’, Chaitanya for completing 11 years in cinema. Naga Chaitanya, who enjoys a huge fanbase, had met the love of his life, Samantha Akkineni on the sets of Ye Maaya Chesave. After being friends for some time, the two had fallen head-over-heels in love with each other. On October 6, 2017, Chaitanya and Samantha had tied the knot according to traditional South Indian as well as Christian rituals. They are one of the most sought-after celeb couples of Tollywood and never miss a chance to shower their love on each other. On May 21, 2020, Samantha Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya had attended the roka ceremony of his cousin, Rana Daggubati with Miheeka Bajaj. On May 22, 2020, Samantha had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a solo picture of her handsome husband, Naga Chaitanya. Along with the picture, she had written a romantic note which could be read as “After sending mommy, aunties, sister, friends, very straight male friends it’s now Instagram’s turn ... 'See eee my husband looks so handsome no???? (husband is somewhere digging a large pit to jump into right now).” And it was Naga’s comment on his wife’s post that was unmissable. Naga had written, “Okay now…this looks like one of those paid partnership posts.”

In an interaction with Famously Filmfare, Naga had said that he feels so blessed to be married to Samantha and had shared, "I think there was a point when we both were single. We hung out more than normal. So, automatically things started building between us. I was also mentally looking to settle down. I always looked forward to having a family. So, all those thoughts started flowing in my head and she was right there in front of me. So, I was like she is a known devil (chuckles). I know all her mischief and I am fine with them."
Adding further, Naga Chaitanya had also revealed why it is better to marry a best friend and had stated, "They say it is the best thing to marry your best friend. I believe if personal life is balanced, work, money and everything else just fall into place. That is my religion. My biggest priority is to keep that balance at home. My wife should be happy. My family should be happy. If I see a smile on their face, I can go to work happily and make money."
