IIFA brought the star-studded festival to an end on September 29, 2024. While hosting the show, Shah Rukh Khan and Vicky Kaushal talked about the enormous success of Pushpa: The Rise and gave an impromptu dance performance on Oo Antava. The crowd enthusiastically applauded their moves, and the video quickly went viral on social media.
Vicky Kaushal, Karan Johar, and Shah Rukh Khan hosted the Bollywood portion of the IIFA Awards 2024 on September 28, 2024 by. While amusing the audience with their antics during the event, Shah Rukh and Vicky grooved to the hit song, Oo Antava, and their hilarious video went viral.
Following the actors' performance on the song, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who was featured in the fantastic song from Allu Arjun’s 2021 blockbuster, Pushpa: The Rise has responded. She posted the clip to her Instagram Stories, captioning it as, “I never imagined this happening in a million years,” along with multiple laughing and red heart emojis.
In addition to doing a performance on Oo Antava, Shah Rukh also reached out to Sandeep Reddy Vanga, requesting him to direct him in a movie. SRK in such a persona would make for an intriguing sight! As this was going on, Shah Rukh and Vicky danced to several other songs and lit up the stage. Among the songs was Mere Mehmoob Mere Sanam, which was remade for Bad Newz after first appearing in Duplicate. Vicky also taught Shah Rukh the Tauba Tauba hookstep. Karan Johar performed on the song, Jhoome Jo Pathaan, joining the duo.

Shah Rukh Khan, meanwhile, won the IIFA 2024 award for best actor in a leading role for his thrilling portrayal of Jawan. In addition to Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in the prominent roles, Khan performed the dual roles of Captain Vikram Rathore and Azad in the masala entertainer which also marked filmmaker, Atlee's Bollywood debut. At the IIFA Utsavam, Samantha Prabhu received the 'Woman of the Year' in Indian cinema award. Wearing a stunning green gown, the actress received the award and thanked the presenter.
On the work front, Samantha has been quite busy promoting Citadel: Honey Bunny, her new television series. She was in London for the premiere and press visits along with the team. Priyanka Chopra who starred in the series joined her. Citadel Honey Bunny is an Indian adaption of Citadel by Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra. The spy thriller, which was directed by Raj and DK is set in the 1990s and has supporting performances from Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Parihar, Kashvi Majmundar, Saquib Saleem, and Sikandar Kher.
