Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala surprised everyone with their sudden engagement news. The couple exchanged the rings on August 8, 2024, in Hyderabad in the presence of their respective families. Amidst this news, another name that has been garnering much attention is that of Chaitanya's ex-wife and actress, Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
Recently, the South Indian beauty received a marriage proposal from a fan after Naga Chaitanya's engagement to Sobhita. One of Samantha's fans took to his Instagram account to share a video with the caption, "You miss 100 per cent of the shots you don’t take." Meanwhile, atop the video, the fan wrote:

"Me on my way to Samantha to tell her that she doesn’t need to worry because I’m always going to be there for her."

In the video, Samantha's fan, Mukesh Chintha was seen packing his bag, boarding a plane, standing in front of the actress' house, and explaining why he is a good match for her. He mentioned that he's open to marriage if she is and even asked to give him two years so that he can become financially independent. Meanwhile, he also offered a paper heart as a promise to her.

After Samantha's comment on his reel, the actress' fan's happiness knew no bounds. He once again took to his Instagram account and shared his gratitude for everyone who tagged the actress on his post and made it reach to her. In another story, he shared that he would always remain a fan of Samantha. He penned:
"If Samantha has a million fans, then I am one of them. If Samantha has ten fans, then I am one of them. If Samantha has one fan, then that is me. If Samantha has no fans, then that means I am no longer on earth. If the world is against Samantha, then I am against the world."

For the uninitiated, Samantha Ruth Prabhu married Naga Chaitanya after dating for a while. The former couple tied the knot in 2017. Unfortunately, after four years of marital bliss, they decided to part ways just four days ahead of their fourth wedding anniversary. While Chaitanya has moved on in his life, Samantha is yet to do so.
After a nasty divorce from her husband, Naga Chaitanya just after four years of marriage in 2021, she was diagnosed with the autoimmune condition, myositis. But Samantha never shied away from publicly acknowledging her battles. Earlier, in an interview with Elle India, the South Indian actress spoke about this challenging phase in her life.
Samantha, who turned muse for Elle’s cover story for July 2024, talked about the difficulties she faced in the last couple of years. During the interview, the actress was quick to reply with a firm no when asked if there was anything she wished to do differently in her life. She further explained the reason behind her answer and stated:
"But looking back, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I was discussing this with my friend a while back, and I always thought I didn’t want the last three years to have happened, but now I feel that you have to deal with whatever life throws at you. And as long as you come out of it, you have won. I feel stronger and more rooted than ever."
After a two-year hiatus, Samantha is now gearing up for the release of her web series, Citadel: Hunny Bunny, created by the Russo Brothers, which stars Varun Dhawan as well. She was last seen in Kushi, co-starring Vijay Deverakonda. The film, which was released in September 2023, was shot before Samantha's diagnosis.
