Famous comedian, Samay Raina was born in Jammu and belongs to a conservative Kashmiri Pandit family. According to multiple reports, after completing his education in Hyderabad, Samay went to Maharashtra and pursued a print engineering course at Vidhyarthi Griha in Pune. It was in 2017 when Samay participated in an open mic and placed second out of more than 100 contestants.
