Popular comedian, Samay Raina faced the wrath of the netizens when he made nasty comments on his fellow comedian, Kusha Kapila. He made some insensitive remarks on the actress' personal life, her divorce from Zorawar Ahluwalia, and much more. Later, Kusha slammed him and revealed that she never expected such harsh words coming out of Samay's mouth as the roast was meant to be a light-hearted comedy.
Recently, Samay Raina hosted a Q&A session on his Instagram channel, and a user asked him, "What do u feel about Reddit girlies crying on the jokes you didn't even crack in the roast?" Responding to it, Samay shared that those people were a bunch of jealous low-lifers and got triggered to his stupid roast jokes. He also added that some day he would make them more jealous by showing his bank balance and said:

"I don't feel anything about them. They're a bunch of jealous low-lifers. Some day when this is old news I will release those stupid roast jokes and they will be the first ones to apologise to me for getting 'triggered' and spewing hate based on false information. Someday, I will also show them my bank balance so they can be even more salty and jealous."
However, Samay Raina's response didn't go down with the netizens, and they ended up slamming the comedian for it. They were irked by Samay mentioning his bank balance and showing off. A user penned, "Can't brag about talent because he doesn't have any to begin with." Another one commented, "He's such an unlikable personality, always craving attention. Always shrugs responsibility when it's time, and exactly if he didn't care why did he have to give a 'karara jawab'?"
Kusha Kapila didn't react to Samay Raina's roast of her for a month, and recently, she spoke her heart out about the incident. In an interview with Fever FM, the actress shared that she bared her heart out in her note on social media, as her fans had asked her many questions. She added that she didn't get any money for being roasted and that she had no idea what jokes would come her way. Kusha said:

"Mujhe unko batana tha ki kyo hua yeh roast, aisa kya tha. Toh yeh meri taraf se ek simple clarification tha, ki paise mile the toh aise baithe the, nahi pata tha ki kya jokes aane wale hai."
Kusha Kapila and Samay Raina, along with many other comedians, roasted each other on the new series, Pretty Good Roast Show S1. During one of the episodes, Samay passed nasty comments on Kusha. Taking a dig at Kusha's personal life and divorce, Samay said that the former lives in a broken home. She owns a pet dog, Maya, who is unhappy with her but lives joyfully with Zorawar. Samay further asked Kusha to send Maya to Zorawar so that the furry pet could live with her ex blissfully. He also made some nasty comments on his fellow comedian's sex life, which the show censored.
