Thoda Sa Pyaar Hua Hai, Thoda Hai Baaki… Sameera Reddy rose to fame with her enchanting smile in this song from the film, Maine Dil Tujhko Diya. Her love story with Akshai Varde had proved Ek Nazar Mein Bhi Pyaar Hota Hai as Founder/CEO of Vardenchi Motorcycles had fallen in love with Sameera the moment he had seen her riding a bike. Sameera and Akshai interacted post the shoot of an advertisement and soon, became friends. After dating for two years, Sameera and Akshai officially became each other’s forever and in seven years of their happy married life, the couple was blessed with two adorable munchkins, Hans Varde and Nyra Varde.
Reminiscing the days of her debut film, Maine Dil Tujhko Diya, Sameera Reddy had posted a video on her IG handle and remembered how nervous she was while shooting for the film. Sameera had captioned the video as “2002 blast from the past. As a newbie I remember being crazy nervous shooting this film but the only place I was totally comfortable was when we were shooting the songs! And I was lucky to have @farahkhankunder be my dance guru on my first film #throwbackthursday #mainediltujhkodiya @sohailkhanofficial @daboomalik @sonunigamofficial @sunidhichauhan5 the most amazing voices to launch us newcomers! #messymama #lookingback #bollywood #journey #throwback Title Song Maine Dil Tujko Diya.” On her video, Akshai Varde commented, “How come I don’t see this side of you at home?” followed by a wink emoji. To which, Sameera replied, “@mr.vardenchi you want me to break out into bolly step on the breakfast table or what? You and @manjrivarde would ROFL.” Sharing a screenshot of the same, Sameera wrote on her IG story, “This is what I call a healthy communication @mr.vardenchi” followed by laughing and heart emoticons. It was on January 21, 2021, when Sameera Reddy and Akshai Varde had completed seven years of married life and to mark the same, she had posted a throwback picture from their wedding reception. To wish Akshai, Sameera had written, “You’re still the one. Happy Anniversary Mr. @vardenchi. Mr. & Mrs. Varde 2014 Jan 21st.” Raising a toast to the lovely relationship with her mother-in-law, Manjri Varde, Sameera had written, “Today’s Wedding Anniversary celebrates that with my husband i also got the Sassy Saasu! it’s a package deal peeps and what a lovely one I must say @manjrivarde cheers to 7 yrs of us.”

At KSP (Kidsstoppress) Awards 2019, Sameera Reddy had spoken about her campaign #ImperfectlyPerfect, how she was body-shamed as a child and how she was the 'IT girl' when she was an actress. Sharing her experience of dealing with fat-shaming, gaining 105 kilos, post-partum blues and why is it so important for her to address this issue of painting a realistic picture of what pregnancy and post-pregnancy feel like to all the women out there, Sameera had made everyone teary-eyed with her experience. Sameera had even revealed that after giving birth to her firstborn, Hans Varde, she had felt ‘completely disconnected’ and had given the little one to her husband, Akshai Varde to hold him.
