When she made her debut in Bollywood films, everyone had a Thoda Sa Pyaar Hua Hai Thoda Hai Baaki feeling, but eventually, she proved that Ek Nazar Me Bhi Pyaar Hota Hai. Over the years, Sameera Reddy has proved her mettle as an actress and has managed to create an everlasting impression through her films. Sameera’s unique hobbies of being a motorcycle enthusiast and interest in riding bikes had helped her find the love of her life. Sameera Reddy met her now-husband, an automobile entrepreneur, Akshai Varde, who co-owns Vardenchi Motorcycles. What started off with chatting about bikes gradually turned into a forever relationship, and after dating for nearly two years, Sameera and Akshai tied the knot in 2014. The following year, Akshai and Sameera were blessed with their first son, Hans Varde. Now, Sameera and Akshai are all set to welcome their second child soon, and the actress is enjoying her second-time pregnancy to the fullest.
Sameer Reddy, who is making the most of her last trimester, recently visited The Vatsalya Foundation, Mumbai, which is a development organisation working with vulnerable children. Sameera enjoyed her time with the little girls from the foundation and had a ‘power-packed afternoon’ with them. Her baby bump was also blessed with the ‘girl power’ and she got so much love from the little hands.
Sharing pictures from the same, Sameera Reddy captioned her three posts as, “My bump getting some girl power! Spent an action packed afternoon with these amazing kids from @the.vatsalya.foundation Mumbai! Such beautiful energy”, “Young Confident women of the World! The energy these girls exude! On April 13, 2019, Sameera Reddy enjoyed a pink snowflake themed baby shower ceremony amidst her family and friends. Sameera’s baby shower was filled with balloons, laughter, gifts and of course, Sameera’s son, Hans Varde, who is super-excited to welcome his little sibling soon. Sharing a glimpse of her baby shower look, Sameera had posted a picture of her with a big ear-to-ear smile on her face. She had captioned it as, "I'm getting bigger by the day but damn it's worth it... To all the preggy ladies out there it ain't instaglam all the time."
On March 31, 2019, Sameera Reddy had attended the GQ Style Awards, sporting a blood-red dress and had nailed her baby bump look like a pro with a cut-out in the outfit near her belly. Sameera was soon attacked by the trolls and some nastiest comments on social media. But Sameera was in no mood to listen to the negative comments and decided to shun the trolls. She posted an Instagram story and had written on it, “If men think it's indecent to show a baby bump off then hell I’m going to absolutely enjoy my last few months of flaunting it even more. #brinciiton.” (Also Read: Vidya Balan Reveals The Time In Her Life When She Hated Her Body, Shuns People Who Fat-Shame)
Sameera Reddy had worn Kallol Datta ensemble at the GQ Style Awards and even he had posted an Instagram story in support of the actress. He had written, “Dear Desi Men, I've read comments you've written online about Sameera wearing a BLOOD Red dress with a cut out while pregnant. And true to your toxic form, some of you don't approve of her bump showing. But then it's 2019. And you do not have a say in what a woman chooses to do with her body. Anymore. Dear Desi Men, I leave you with this emoji so that you still feel 'masculine' enough when you realise you cannot dictate or have an opinion anymore as to what one chooses to wear..”
Revealing her due date and confirming that she is pregnant for the second time, Sameera Reddy had stated in an interview with SpotboyE, “Gosh! How did you know? I have not told a soul yet. But now that you have called, yes, let me tell you the truth that I’m carrying for the second time. I’m four months pregnant. This is a planned baby. It is one of the reasons why I have refused quite a bit of work in the recent past. Akshai and I wanted to have the second baby in 2019. My due date is in July.” (Also Read: Sonam K Ahuja Recalls The Time When She Was Body-Shamed And People Would Taunt Her About Marriage)
