Trolling has become as much a part of social media as the reverence and respect that our favourite celebrities receive online. Not a single post shared by a celebrity goes without trolling. Especially, our female celebrities who are subjected to fat shaming, body shaming, beauty shaming and are called numerous kinds of names, on a daily basis. One celebrity who is in the news lately, who is privy to such trolls, is Sameera Reddy who has been shamed for showing off baby bump! Could you believe it? Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mira Rajput Kapoor, Neha Dhupia, are a few female celebrities who have often shunned the trolls who have made nasty comments on their pregnancy in the past. Sameera Reddy, who is in her last trimester, is not behind! During the GQ Style Awards yesterday on March 31, 2019, Sameera Reddy sported a blood-red dress and nailed her baby bump look like a pro with a cut-out in her dress near her belly. As soon as she posted her photo, trolling began and trolls started shaming her pregnancy.
Sameera Reddy decided to shun such shameless trolls by posting an Instagram story, and she did it as fearlessly as it gets. On her Instagram stories, she wrote, “If men think it's indecent to show a baby bump off then hell I’m going to absolutely enjoy my last few months of flaunting it even more. #brinciiton.”
Sameera’s blood red dress was a Kallol Datta label and even he posted an Instagram story in support of Sameera Reddy. He wrote, “Dear Desi Men, I've read comments you've written online about Sameera wearing a BLOOD Red dress with a cut out while pregnant. And true to your toxic form, some of you don't approve of her bump showing. But then it's 2019. And you do not have a say in what a woman chooses to do with her body. Anymore. Dear Desi Men, I leave you with this emoji so that you still feel 'masculine' enough when you realise you cannot dictate or have an opinion anymore as to what one chooses to wear..”
Sameera Reddy’s reply to the trolls is epic, right? Talking to SpotboyE a few months ago, Maine Dil Tujhko Diya actress had confirmed her pregnancy by stating, “Gosh! How did you know? I have not told a soul yet. But now that you have called, yes, let me tell you the truth that I’m carrying for the second time. I’m four months pregnant. This is a planned baby. It is one of the reasons why I have refused quite a bit of work in the recent past. Akshai and I wanted to have the second baby in 2019. My due date is in July.” (Suggested Read: Mom-To-Be Esha Deol Dances For The First Time On-Stage With Radhya Takhtani, Pictures Inside)

Coming back to the social media trolls that Sameera Reddy faces due to her pregnancy, she had recently commented that not everybody is like Kareena Kapoor Khan. Sameera was quoted as saying, “There are sexy ones like Kareena Kapoor who's come out looking fully hot, and there are people like me who take time (to get back in shape).”
Sameera Reddy then had a very legit question for her haters online. Talking about the natural process of pregnancy, Sameera had commented, “I want to ask trollers: 'Was your mom hot, when you came out?' It's shameful. Pregnancy is such a natural process. It's so beautiful. It took me time to (lose weight) with the first baby. Maybe it'll take me time with the second baby. But what's most important is to embrace yourself. And to all trolls: 'Say what you want guys, I think I have a superpower, I'm giving birth to a baby.”
She had further added that she doesn’t feel shy to proudly flaunt her baby bump. The second time mommy-to-be had retorted, “In my first pregnancy, I was very shy and thought about a lot of things but now I feel it's very different. I remember I used to cover up a lot during the first pregnancy now I'm like bring it on. I can also be hot when I'm pregnant. So it's just a matter of mindset.”
Sameera Reddy got married to Akshai Varde, an entrepreneur by profession on January 21, 2014. Commenting on their love story, she had once shared with a media house, “Akshai has his own range of motorbikes. That’s how we met. I love motorbikes and riding them is my passion. Akshai saw me whizzing past on this really mean macho machine. I think he was impressed. Our relationship started there. We have known one another for years. Akshai is well-known in his own field but not part of showbiz. I think that was very important for me. I wanted to marry outside the film industry.” (You May Like: Amy Jackson Is Pregnant With Her First Child, Posts Picture Of Baby Bump With BF, George Panayiotou)
