Sameera Reddy and her husband, Akshai Varde were blessed with a baby girl, on July 12, 2019. The entire family is taking turns on giving the best care to their little princess, who has just arrived in their world.
Sameera's four-year-old son, Hans has already taken his big bhaiya role seriously. On August 18, 2019, Sameera took to her Instagram and shared a boomerang of Hans taking care of his baby sister, Nyra. She captioned it as, "Mama's little assistant". Take a look at it below:
Sameera, who has been on cloud nine after receiving God's biggest blessing, never stops thanking the universe for the little angel. On July 15, 2019, she had written a long note and had revealed how blessed she feels. The doting mother had written, “This little girl gave me the strength of wild horses. She wanted me to find myself again. She knew I was lost, and she showed me the way. I found a voice in celebrating motherhood, wanting change on body perception and the best part was reaching out to people to just feel good about themselves. I’m so happy that people felt so connected and supported me to get here! We prayed for a #babygirl and we are #blessed!" She had also opened up on breastfeeding and how it is a hush-hush topic. She had written a post on it that could be read as "Day 11 - Happiness galore with no sleep, colic and feeding round the clock! I think I forgot how stressful breastfeeding can be !! I mean the pressure Is quite real and the whole top feed balance after a c-section is hectic! I finally am exclusively feeding her but the whole process is something that should be natural but it’s made to be very stressful. I realised with the feedback that a lot of women struggle with it. I think it’s cool if a mom wants to move totally to formula or only BF or balance both. There is no shame and no one can define what’s the perfect way. We’re doing the best we can! Ladoos to pumps I’m on job but damn it’s really quite hard!"

In an interview with SpotboyE, Sameera had opened up about embracing motherhood for the second time, and had shared her childbirth story. Sameera had said, "I was on an ad shoot on Thursday, and in fact, my doctor had just checked me on Wednesday. I am at Women's Hospital in the able hands of Dr Gayatri Rao. She had said that we could go ahead with a C-section as it was required in my case and I should tell her when I would like to get it done. I said, 'Let's do it on Friday. As such, yesterday was Ekadashi- a very big, holy day. My husband clicked pictures in the labour room. He clicked his first selfie with our daughter."
Sameera had also opened up on her husband, Akshai Varde and how he is dealing with fatherhood this time, "I didn't have a nanny when my son was born, so he is far closer to me. I am a hands-on mother. But yes, I have a good support system from my inlaws. I don't think I will have a nanny this time around too, but might have to choose one as my work has increased. Waise, my husband too is a hands-on father." (Don't Miss: Is Deepika Padukone Pregnant? She Calls Ranveer Singh 'Hi Daddy' With A Cute Baby Emoji)
