Pakistani actress, Sanam Saeed rose to popularity in India after she essayed the role of ‘Kashaf’ in the drama, Zindagi Gulzar Hai, starring opposite the Pakistani heartthrob, Fawad Khan. The drama was a massive hit in India and hooked us all to the impeccable storytelling prowess of the Pakistani entertainment industry. Apart from being a fantastic actress, Sanam is also very vocal about her opinions and doesn’t shy away from voicing her perspective and preaching development.
Marriage is a holy union between two individuals who pledge to be beside each other through all of life’s highs and lows. However, not every marriage withstands the test of time, and the duo part ways. In an interview with Aamna Haider Isani at the British Asian Trust, Sanam added that these days, divorces have spiked due to women being financially independent.

Sanam explained that when any marriage goes south ways, women will likely stay in it if they are not financially independent as they have the insecurity of ending up homeless and destitute. But a financially independent woman will take the necessary steps to protect and uphold herself, and she has her own back. Sanam also added that a sane and independent woman will nurture an equally strong willed offspring.

On the personal front, Sanam tied the knot with Mohib Mirza in 2021 but kept their marriage discreet for years. Finally, in March 2023, at Fahad Mustafa's talk show, The Fourth Umpire, the couple accepted their relationship. The duo prefers to keep their relationship under wraps and very rarely shares insights of their marriage with the world.

Sanam Saeed, known for her captivating performances, has temporarily shifted her focus from television series. Her last appearance was in the film, Ishrat Made in China, and she's set to grace the big screen again in the upcoming movie, Aant. Excitingly, she has also secured a role in the first-ever Netflix original series from Pakistan, Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo, alongside a star-studded cast including Fawad Khan, Hania Aamir, Mahira Khan, Iqra Aziz, and more.
