Sangeeta Bijlani and Salman Khan's relationship was one of the hot topics of discussion. For the unversed, the couple's wedding was fixed, and even the wedding cards were printed, but it was called off. Sangeeta and Salman maintain a good bond even after their past relationship, which couldn't be successful. The couple didn't talk much about their past relationship in public, but it was Salman's other ex-lady love, Somy Ali, who revealed that the ex-couple's wedding was called off as Sangeeta caught the actor red-handed while cheating on her.
Well, in a recent interaction, Sangeeta revealed how she was restricted from wearing revealing clothes by her ex-beau. Sangeeta recently appeared as a guest on the show, Indian Idol. At the same show, the actress was questioned about her ex-beau, Salman, and their almost-happened wedding. While she said that it's not a lie, she refrained from speaking much about it. On the other hand, she shared an anecdote from one of her past relationships.
When she was asked what she would want to change in her life, the actress mentioned that she wouldn't take anyone's name, but her ex constricted her from wearing deep necklines and short-length clothes. Sangeeta further stated that initially, she used to wear whatever she liked, but eventually, she was not allowed to wear the same. Sangeeta mentioned she had changed now, and she is not afraid anymore. Stating that she was reserved back then and would want to change that portion of her life, Sangeeta remarked:
"Jo the na, mere ex. I won’t take the name. I was very constricted that ‘you can’t wear short dresses, the neck can’t look so deep, the dress can’t be shorter than this particular length.’ I was not allowed to wear stuff like I am wearing right now (a blue knee length dress). Initially I did, but eventually I was not allowed to. So I was a little shy then. Now, I am nothing like it. I am a total gundi. I am not afraid anymore. I was very reserved then. I would like to change that part of my life. But, anyway, I changed that. I am who I am now.”
In the show, Indian Idol, Sangeeta Bijlani was asked if the buzz about her wedding cards with Salman Khan being printed. To this, the actress, first was shocked, and she later revealed that it was not a lie. Vishal Dadlani further asked Sangeeta to reveal more about the same, and she replied that she would talk about it in Bhavana, which is a complex, wherein the singer and the actress have their apartments.
Sangeeta and Salman were once in love with one another. So much so that their wedding was fixed and even wedding cards were printed. As per Somy Ali, Sangeeta caught Salman red-handed when he was in her room. Somy stated that she thought that she and Salman were over and that he would get married to Sangeeta, but the actor broke up with her then-to-be wife to be with Somy only.

During her interview with TOI, Sangeeta was asked how she had maintained a good bond with Salman Khan after everything had happened. Sangeeta replied that love never fades away and it doesn't mean that people should just keep the anger for the other person for whom they once had love, like an ex-partner of school friends, and her maturity too came with time.
