Embracing parenthood is truly, God’s blessing to us! Being accountable for somebody’s life and shaping them to become ‘good’ human beings above everything is an amazing feeling. When a baby comes into the life of a couple, all of their priorities change. Conversations change to hushed whispers, a time is set by the both of you to take turns in changing his/her diaper when the ‘boss baby’ is up at odd hours of the night, bahar ka khaana only means something healthy because you have breastfeeding concerns and whatnot, a baby truly changes his/her parents’ lifestyle! And ex-Yeh Hain Mohabbatein star, Sangram Singh and his wife, Gurkiran Kaur are probably going through a similar situation. Before we share details about this couple, let us tell you that Sangram Singh and his wife, Gurkiran Kaur welcomed their first child, a baby girl on July 10, 2019. He had posted the picture of a slate which had the words, “It’s a girl…” written on it, surrounded by pink flowers, fruits and baby shoes on each corner. This announcement post was captioned with the sweetest thing that any newbie father can relate to. Sangram had written, “We are so happy to tell the world that we have been blessed with a healthy and angelic baby girl… both mother and daughter are doing absolutely fine and daddy is overwhelmed with this little bundle of life-lasting happiness.”
Whenever we hear that celebs have welcomed a little one in their lives, we are ever curious to know their names! While we all had gushed with happiness when we learnt that Sangram Singh and Gurkiran Kaur have become parents, but we were even more excited when the newbie mommy took to Instagram and shared their little ‘angel’s’ name. Sharing a post with a pink background, where the words “For all the things my hands have ever held, the best by far is you” were written, the newbie mommy revealed their daughter’s name in the caption. It could be read as “Our little angel – Parina #newmommylife.” ‘Parina’ it is folks! The meaning of Parina is ‘Fairy’. Here is the post:
When Sangram Singh had posted on social media that he is now a proud daddy to a little princess, his Yeh Hain Mohhabatein ex co-stars, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya, Karan Patel and Aly Goni posted heartfelt wishes for his new beginnings in life. While Karan had written, “This is more of a pleasant shock than surprise veere... I'm sooo sooo soooo happy for you guys... congratulations to you and bhabhi... and lots of love and blessings for the lil angel from CHACHU”, Divyanka had expressed her happiness by commenting, “I'm so happy for you Sangy!!! May happiness be your companion forever!” Aly had posted a couple ‘all-smiling emojis’ and baby Ruhi from Sangram’s ex-show, Ruhaanika Dhawan had written, “Many congratulations to you and your family. Sangram Singh and Gurkiran Kaur’s love after marriage story is a complete fairy tale. Do you know, the actor quit his flourishing show, Yeh Hain Mohhabatein to be with his wife, Gurkiran in Norway, who is a VAT consultant there? The couple got married on December 25, 2017, and soon after he had made his move. Speaking about the same, a friend close to the couple had shared with a portal, “Three months ago, Sangram got married in Amritsar. It was an arranged marriage. His wife Gurkiran Kaur is a VAT consultant in Norway, so he has decided to move there. About their engagement, Sangram Singh had then shared in an interview, “Yes, it's true. We are getting married on December 25th. The wedding will take place in Amritsar and the engagement and cocktail will happen at Jalandhar. It's an arranged marriage and Gurkiran is a VAT consultant from Norway."
Talking about how they had met and marriage happened, Sangram Singh had shared, “Our families knew each other and they thought we were a perfect match. When we got introduced, we gelled quite well. Also, we already have a wedding in the family on December 26th so the elders thought that it would be nice if we get married on 25. A lot of our family members stay in Norway and it won't be possible to fly down for two weddings at a different time.”
Sangram Singh’s co-star and a dear friend, Aly Goni was quoted as saying in an interview sometime back “I am going to really miss him. Sangram has many of his family members settled in Norway and he wants to join them in the family business.
