The COVID-19 outbreak has halted our lives! It came as an abrupt pause button in our busy lives. While we were struggling to stay safe from the coronavirus, the overnight lockdown in many parts of the world came as a shock. The COVID-19 lockdown not only had affected the economy but it has also left people lonely as many were away from their home and they couldn't return because of the curfew. And ace tennis player, Sania Mirza was one of those, who was stuck in India away from her husband and cricketer, Shoaib Malik. We remember in an interview with The Indian Express, Sania had expressed her concern regarding the same. She had stated that Shoaib was in Pakistan while she was in India, and the lockdown was difficult as they have a small child, who was missing his father. She was skeptical as when they will be able to reunite.
Well, the wait got over as Sania Mira had finally reunited with her hubby, Shoaib Malik in Dubai. Since then, she has been sharing snippets of their vacation. On September 17, 2020, Sania took to her Instagram handle and shared a super cute picture with her 'mister', Shoaib. In the picture, we can see Sania looking gorgeous in a white t-shirt with blue jeans and a brown-printed blazer. On the other hand, Shoaib looked dapper in a casual ensemble. She also posted another 'candid' picture on her IG stories and wrote, "Umm, let's just say it was candid! @realshoaibmalik." Check it out below:
On September 11, 2020, Sania had shared a first family picture after they had landed in Dubai on her IG stories. Talking about the lockdown phase, Sania had opened up on staying away from her hubby, Shoaib in an interview with The Indian Express. She had said, "We are both pretty positive and practical people. He has a mother who is over 65 and by herself, so he needs to be there. So in the end, it worked out best that he was there with her. We hope we are healthy and come out of this on the right side of it." Sania also talked about her son, Izhaan and keeping him away from the virus. She said, "I don’t have anxiety problems but a couple of nights ago, I was having anxiety out of nothing. I was lying in bed and thinking of things because there’s so much uncertainty. Having a toddler in the house, you don’t know how to protect yourself, how to protect your child, you have parents who are older. So, you are not really thinking about work or tennis."
