Losing a parent gives immense pain that one can never forget. The void created due to the absence of a parent can never get filled by anything or anyone. That's what the Bollywood actor, Sanjay Dutt had felt when his mother, legendary Bollywood actress, Nargis Dutt had succumbed to death after battling pancreatic cancer on May 3, 1981.
For those who don't know, Sanjay Dutt's whole world used to revolve around his mother, Nargis Dutt and with time, she had proved to be the world's best mother to Sanjay as she was his pillar of strength. Nargis had tied the knot with the love of her life, Sunil Dutt and had become proud parents to three beautiful kids, Priya Dutt, Namrata Dutt and Sanjay Dutt. She didn't even think twice before taking a break from her career to raise her children.

A few moments back, Sanjay Dutt took to his Instagram handle and shared a monochrome picture, wherein the mother-son duo looked absolutely beautiful. Sharing the photo, Sanjay wrote a heartfelt note dedicating it to his mother that can be read as:
"Your smile kept me strong, your words kept me grounded, and your spirit lifted me at my lowest. You were the best I could ever ask for. Happy Birthday, Ma."
On June 1, 2020, Sanjay Dutt had shared an emotional video on his Instagram handle. Remembering his mother, he had penned a heartfelt note, "Happy Birthday Ma, miss you," followed by a heart emoticon. In the video, he had compiled the journey of his mother, Nargis Dutt, from being an actress to the wife of an actor to a mother of three children.

In an old interview with India Today, Sanjay Dutt had opened up about his mother, Nargis and had talked about her at length. He had shared that he had learned to be a good human being from both of his parents. Talking about the same, he had said:
"The most important thing is to be a good human being. Everything else comes after that. I learned from both my father and mother. I'm passing on to my kids. I hope my wife doesn't pamper my children the way my mother did me. My wife tells me if the kids don't hate the parents when they are growing up, there is something wrong in their parenting. I am tough to my children when I want to be tough."
