Sanjeeda Shaikh rose to fame with her impeccable acting prowess on the television industry, where she established herself as an extraordinary performer. However, the diva went onto prove her mettle to a larger audience and took the leap of faith into films. She has been a part of some successful films, such as Fighter, Taish and more recently, Heeramandi. In her personal life, she was previously married to actor, Amir Ali and the couple welcomed their daughter, Ayra into the world through surrogacy in 2020. Unfortunately, Sanjeeda and Amir parted ways in 2021.
In a recent interview, Sanjeeda Shaikh opened up about her journey as a single parent to her daughter, Ayra. While the world is exceptionally cruel to single mothers, Sanjeeda claimed that it is her daughter who has been her pillar of strength against all adversities. Adding how Ayra has made her evolve into stronger than before, Sanjeeda said:

“My daughter has given me the strength to take certain steps in my life that I would have never thought of taking. I think a mother is born with a daughter. I see that I have become a stronger version of myself today.”

Speaking along the same lines, Sanjeeda Shaikh then reminisced the most special moment of her life, when she got to see her baby girl, Ayra for the first time. She remarked upon seeing her, she realised that her daughter was indeed a mini version of her own self. Adding how motherhood has made her accept her flaws now more than ever, Sanjeeda shared:
“I have accepted my flaws and started loving myself. When I first saw my daughter, I said ‘yeh choti Sanjeeda aa gayi hai’. My life revolves around her. My daughter calls my brother her Paa.”
In one of her other interviews, Sanjeeda Shaikh talked about the reason behind she being less active on social media. The actress revealed how she isn’t that kind of person who loves to post every little detail of her life out on social media, since she has enough people in her family to talk about it.

Previously, in an interaction with Zoom, Sanjeeda Shaikh opened up about her decision to divorce her ex-husband, Amir Ali. She revealed disliking the fact how people quickly arrive at decisions with half-baked knowledge about the matter.onetheless, it has been her family who has been her ultimate strength in such decision. In her words:
“I won't be saying like 'oh, it's okay. People speak'. It's not okay, and our side of the story only I know, right? And I am somebody who is—again, I would give it to my family, they have given me the liberty to talk to them about what I have felt so I do not have to go out and talk about it. And I take immense pride in doing that. I think that somewhere has kept my dignity alive and my sanity safe. I am not somebody who is pro women and I am not somebody who is bashing male."
